Is it possible to just chalk up anything prior to June 2012 as being lost forever?
Can we just start the website with new pics going forward?

I dont think too many people went back much more than a few days when looking at the new contris. So, whats the worry about the archives and old pictures??? SO what if Wiki isn't up. Who used that. I thought it was pretty much just 'there' anyway. not really all that important.
Just start the clock this week, ask for new pictures, and post away.

Not a bad idea. Why not start new, and recover the old material once the new site is fully operational? That would be the best of both worlds.
