I have been away for a bit and when I logged onto VW I found its no longer. I have been trying to follow all the threads and just dont quite understand what happened and whats going on.

Short story...

There is a breakup of the people running VW. Some stayed with the current incarnation of VW, some went to the site .... Each claims to have the majority of the staff and to be the successor to VW. Both sides are clearly telling some lies, half-truths, and making misleading statements. Each side claims to have the rights to display the old content of VW.

Diligent community members have uncovered the truth behind many incorrect statements made by each side and have posted this information in the BB of each side, though those posts may or may not be deleted by the moderators of the respective boards. Other members of both BBs make unsubstantiated claims for and against each side. Take all you ready with a questioning mind.

I make no claim that either one side or the other is more legally, morally or ethically correct. I make no claim one side or the other is more or less truthful than the other. I make no claim one side or the other is likely to provide the experience we are used to.

These are decisions you will have to make yourself.

Thanks for that. I will keep it book marked a bit longer before I decide to delete and go elsewhere. :|
