It's been a good year for getting more people here on the Forums. Most recently Star and BabyCakes ... and earlier in the year HappyGal hung around for a bit. Sure wish she would come back. She was a lot of fun. Of course we can't forget Jeny. She sure made a splash here. Oh, and Jess was new this year as well. How could I forget her?!

I'm sure there are some other ladies that I missed and for that I apologize. And to all the new gents that came on board, it's been good having new guys to help support all our lovely ladies.

So it sounds like a nude years eve party is in the works. Pole dancing contests, "no panties" pool tournament... bobbing for- or on- "fire hoses" :o ... donut ring toss for the ladies (Thumps and Fast provide the "poles'") ... and I'm sure there will be other activities cum up. Pub COFF doors will be open early though I'm not sure who will be manning the bar. And maybe Doc Paul will show up to dispense the happy pills. :mrgreen:

Hahaha hubby and I are both ford fans. We have a 6.7L f350, a 6.0L f350, a 73 Mach 1 mustang (still in restoration process) plus our old 47 ford in the picture. Hopefully will be getting some work done on that one too. Originally bought it just for photo shoots actually. Lol

Oh and I have an 08 dodge charger super bee. So not quite all fords. Lol

Grumpy has called me a closet MoPar man due to my love of Plymouths - I've had two and wish I still had them. Nope, nothing at all. Looking into getting one for sure now though. Never felt necessary to use until I started doing more self portraits. Definitely will be added to my gear though! Haha

I think you mentioned the camera you use. you can look at the specs of your particular camera online and see if it accepts an IR remote. then you can go on Amazon and order one for under $10 most of the time. I have nikon D 7000 and the Canon Rebel, they make IR remotes for both of those for under ten dollars.

one of my friends takes lots of self pictures and uses her cell phone as her remote. I believe she also uses the cell phone to transmit the image from camera to phone so she can pose then check for positioning from the cell phone itself.

The new GoPro's also hook up to your cell phone and you can see what the GoPro is looking at from your cell phone. you can set the Go Pro up to take a picture every 5 10 15 or 20 seconds and you can check in your cell phone your position before the GoPro takes the picture. GoPro images are going to take a lot of photo shop afterwards just to give it some character and artistic quality. they take damn good images though.

I'll have to go back and ask my friend exactly what kind of camera she uses and cell phone app. I've misplaced the information. I actually have the app downloaded on my own phone but for the life of me I couldn't tell you which one it is, hahaha.
