Once upon time in a galaxy far far away Trump once claimed that his Florida golf course was worth 50 million dollars. And he sued the assessor because he felt that the property was under valued at 18 million dollars.
Fast forward to the present...recently a tax assessor valued the property at 19 million dollars and billed Trump for $400,000 (2% of assessed value). So you would think Trump got a pretty good deal...right?
However, Trump sent the government a $300,000 payment, as good faith payment  . Approximately valuing the property around 14 million?
What would happen if you only paid 75% percent of your property tax bill to the government?
