While the photos were lovely while they lasted, and certainly were wonderful at getting us through, we are getting back to the way things were. This means that photos will once again only be allowed on the Explicit BBs, see you over there!

VW is nowhere near where thngs used to be unfortunately and removing the few images here is poorly thought through.

You're taking away someones's creative contributions and everyone else's enjoyment thereof.

End result, LESS functionality, LESS reason to pop in and hopefully stay.

If VW is concerned about an image and it's appropriateness for the free side then gosh, replace it with the standard Propic Guidelines image always used here?

Were I one of the people who went to the trouble of posting images here, I would be seriously ticked off. That was a real plus here and no harder to monitor than the old monitoring of Propics.

I must say I agree with Rockclimber. Redclouds is still not fully functioning and to take features away here or other places makes no sense. Still hopeful.....

The images were reactivated yesterday and you can upload again! The images were removed only for a short period of time to allow the moderators to remove the explicit photos which were allowed while the Explicit BBs were down.

Its good to see a sensible solution.....and one that doesnt tick the contributors off.

Here is an even Better idea..... leave a.blurred copy in the orig location and add a link to red ***** and repost.it as a stand alone contri fof that day or as part of a seperate thread possibly called The good stuff or words to.that effect AND enter them in a little quicky contest? But pay it out.

Now I know people have trut issues.. the mail.to General Delivery is a GOOD idea.... Or offer the winner an opportunity to donate their winnkngs to a charity of their choice from a list of a half dozen or so. Two charities come to mind immediately .....

Fixed it for ya. While the blurred idea could be a possibility in the future, right now we need everyone to moderate their own posts as far as photo content as the time is just not there with all this other stuff going on. We cannot enter anyone into a contest or repost their images, if they wish to do so of course they are welcomed to and we would love to have them upload a photo in the RedClouds section! While the donation is a great idea and I'm sure many of our contributors already donate to their own causes, we must leave that up to the individual as it is their money to do as they wish.
