Political discussions about everything

In seven years and around 60 "repeal" efforts from the GOP, and now with the self-described greatest deal-maker in the history of the universe leading them, the best conservatives could do was pulling the pin on another shit grenade and then, as always, holding the grenade and throwing the pin.

Yeah Grog, you told us to get used to madam president because Trump was a loser and didn't stand a chance, so why should we believe you know on your prediction that Trump will fail?

The bill was pulled because some greedy bastards thought their vote on such historical legislation was
worth more than what they were being offered.
The bill being pulled only means it can be re-introduced later..
But the Left sees it a a great victory for their side.....
Well...whatever it takes to make Hillary's loss easier to swallow... :o

In the book Grog Wallowitz references Trump says, "You have to be prepared to walk away from the table."

This is far from over.

For seven years the GOP have been telling their low intelligence followers that if they get control of congress and the presidency, they would eradicate Obamacare on day 1.

Seven years and despite more than 50 repeal votes, they had nothing, absolutely nothing.

It was really Ryancare.

His lobbyists and staffers wrote the thing, and it certainly does show that Paul Ryan did a poor job of building consensus.

All that needed to be done was delete the individual mandate and let Obamacare fail.

Now Democrats own the mess of Obamacare.

Until now the Democrats have always owned Obamacare, you dolt.

Now Donnie and Ryan own it. Ryan and the GOP have been trying to break it from day one. Now, when it really, I mean really breaks, Donnie and Ryan deservedly get the blame because they're in charge.

Once again, you morons gleefully walked yourselves into a 2x4 between the eyes.

yes they do own it. thats a hands down deal. However the fat lady hasnt sang yet. Even though the libs are claiming a great victory its not over yet. I hope the far right wing loons realize how bad they fucked over Americans today. Twomarrow? is another day

No. The GOP, because they convinced the low intelligence conservative base to put them in power, now owns Obamacare and everything else the federal government does or doesn't do.

If they let Obamacare really, completely break, then it's their fault for not trying to fix it. A lot of folks will be rightfully pissed at them

At the same time, if the GOP does fix it, then the GOP has fixed... Obamacare. A lot of low intelligence conservatives will be mad at them.

The GOP walked their simple selves into yet another lose-lose situation.

Once again Trump proves why he's the master at making deals. He let the traitors in the GOP hang themselves while he got up and walked away rather than giving in. Trump has proven he won't waiver and those around him better wake up...it's not politics as usual. They're all saying "what just happened? He's not playing the game" The dude ROCKS!!! :D

The conservatards now have the keys to the system and they fail to deliver.

Trump fails to close the deal.

And now Trump blames the democrats for failing to repeal Obamacare.

This shit is so loonie you can't make it up!!!

Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

It was a mutual throwing-under-the-bus. They're all clinging to each other's lapels as they get run run over, proclaiming "If I'm going down you're going with me!"

It's good stuff.

In that book, it notes that one should not be too attached to any one deal.

Ryan's bill was far from perfect, and some even dubbed it "Obamacare Lite."

Liberals see this in narrow partisan terms, but the real issue is that America still has the disaster of Obamacare.

And the Trump groupies are blaming the conservatards?

They are all tossing each other under the bus....

Total carnage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Forbes, then why did Donnie tout it during the election and after he was "elected"?

Why did Donnie, as Spicer put it today, the day of the planned voted, leave everything on the field?

You have almost as much credibility and credulity as Donnie hisself. In other words; Less than zero. lol

Right after the inauguration Trump claimed that healthcare was "so complicated." But that didn't stop Donnie from cluelessly trying to ram Trumpcare through the congress.

Repealing healthcare was supposed to be an easy fix...wait until el Donaldo attempts tax reform!!!!

If there is a lesson for Trump, it would be don't trust Paul Ryan to know anything or get anything accomplished.

If you look at the bill Ryan proposed, it is hardly a loss for any conservative that that bill failed because it wasn't very good.

As Trump said, if you imagine all 3 phases done, it had enough merit to do, but nobody should weep over that.

Now, for the leftists on CNN or dolts such as Elkin, they celebrate any preservation of their secular deity Obama, but the problem is that America is now left with the mess of Obamacare.

It's telling that the DonkeyRat leaders and the HollyWierd elites are running around high five-ing each other and spiking the ball every chance they get.

Where have we seen this before?

This autumn, when Obamacare premiums again skyrocket, might be a good time if the Repubs can agree on some market-based solutions to drive down costs.

Or they could say the hell with it and let Democrats wallow in the mess of Obamacare.

Trump told Congress they OWN Obamacare, he tried and they blocked any changes. Obamacare is exploding, Trump can't be touched as it gets worse.

Delete the individual mandate, sure. That was unconstitutional and Roberts knew that it was not a tax.

Otherwise, I never understood why Repubs would want to "replace" Obamacare.

The most annoying things about Ryancare were it had a penalty but paid to insurance cos, and it also had a list of criteria every health policy had to contain (an echo of Obamacare).

How Trump always manages to turn lemons into lemon aide continues to amaze me. Time for more politicians like Trump to make this country great again!!!

Democrats like spending, so it'll be interesting if some of them support an infrastructure spending bill.

Schumer is the only legislator we know of to get perfect SAT scores, so he is plenty bright enough to know he has to do more than just attack Trump for the next 4 years.
