So just wondering whether anyone has got their new passwords as yet! We're probably a long way down the list but the e-mails have been 'going out' for many, many hours now, so surely someone must have received something! If you've received post a little message to give those of us still waiting some hope!

The problem is that no-one, and I mean no-one, has so far said that they have received an e-mail anywhere on the boards. Yet the e-mails started going out on Friday - some 48 hours ago now. It stands to reason that someone, somewhere would have come on to say 'Yippee - I've finally got access to RC (or HC)'. But no-one?

Another diversionary tactic?

Rigan fyi and others I received the email activation mail a few minutes ago. I can now get into redclouds but still can't access bb's.
I think KiKi is doing everything she has said she will do. She appears to me as being sincere when it comes to getting vw back to the way it was. I will continue to wait for further updates and just hope its closer to being over and things getting better.

I'm not saying they aren't trying, but you are the first to post and words are easy! You have only joined in the last 5 days and you get yours whilst some of us have been posting ever since the crash/theft fiasco trying to find out what is going on! Strange how all the new people seem to get something happen but the faithful oldies are still waiting for something!

Rigan i understand your frustration....i'm guilty of it myself. I didn't just join 5 days ago but have been a member for a couple yrs now....just registered to post her about 5 days back. Hope you and everyone else gets the mail soon. I have no idea how or why i received mine when i did. Just wanted to let folks know they were going out.

I got mine in the middle of the night. I've been a subscriber for many years, but renewed a week or so before the crash. Can get into RC, but all old posts, and the BB's aren't functional. HTH

I have not yet received any email. I am at the point now where I will be asking for a refund. This whole entire snafu looks more and more like a fraud.

I have no idea how many members voyeurweb has but I find it entirely unacceptable to have purchased a membership and then without warning, have it not work for months.

Further more ability to contact anyone is also extremely difficult. In conclusion I will give Voyeurweb exactly one week from today to get it together. After that I will begin to pursue other options, including legal ones.

My sincere apologies for this. I am trying my best to make up for the previous poor communications, please email me with any further issues you may have and I will respond as immediately as possible. I understand your frustrations and if you wish email me and I will take care of refunding you. I know you have been waiting quite awhile already, but please give it some more time as a large percentage of members have already gotten their activation emails and the rest are in queue. If you feel that this is unsatisfactory I will certainly reimburse you for your membership, please email or PM me for further details.
If you choose to stay a member we will be providing you (as well as the other members) with free membership time and will extend the expiration date on your membership for 90 days in order to make up for this. Sorry once again for this inconvenience.

Well, maybe the squeaky wheel gets the attention. I have also been a RC member for years and I am still waiting for my email. I worry that I got lost in the shuffle somewhere and even though Katherine has always been quick to respond, now that she is gone I don't know where I stand.

Amazing! All the people with only 1 or 2 posts since the crash are getting their e-mails - including people we've never heard of or seen post on RC, yet the vast majority still have none. Still waiting for one of the vocal critics of VW from the last few weeks to receive there's and until someone whose been posting for awhile gets their's I'm unlikely to believe anything.

Had enough of the cock and bull stories we keep getting fobbed off with. Most of the problems with the site have been pointed out by those of us loyal enough to stick around for awhile and yet nothing seems to happen.

Could someone in the know indicate just how many e-mails are being sent in this 'automated system'? In the days where mass mailing systems can handle 100,000s of emails an hour 48 hours is an extraordinarily long time for a queue to be processing.

Does Kiki even realise that the constant promises and misinformation from the past 6 weeks has led to a culture of disbelieving any 'anonymous' person involved with VW has to say! A little more information would have us all happier!

Hi Rigan -- I suppose I would qualify.

Although I have not received anything myself, I heard this morning from an entirely reliable source that he had gotten registered at HomeClips based on the email and now has access.

I share some of your concerns, but on this point at least I think there are signs of something (non-BS) happening.

I just got my Homeclips renewal and getting the new user name / password was very easy. Guess they are working on it.

Got my e-mail a couple of hours ago for Redclouds.

Everything was pretty smooth!

Maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is not an oncoming train after all!

I got the email and set back up on Redclouds this evening.

Same as VW main, it's static in May. Currently no RCBB or chat/cam area.

But the emails are going out.

i got my email about fifteen minutes ago to set up redclouds. i would have posted right away but I have been jonesing for some lovely ladies for so long that i had to take a quick trip through rc first.

kiki, best of luck! i had faith in you all and i'm soooo happy the site is up and running again. i'd love to see you in something wet whenever you get to take a breath or two.

I checked my email a bit earlier and there wasn't an email to get my password back to RC, but I just checked it, at 7:30Pm Central time and low and behold, it was there, with a link to reestabish things.

I did it and it worked. I'm posting this so others know that its coming and like they said it will take time to get to everyone. As an FYI, in case they are doing in alphabetically, my email starts with an M, if that might be of help to anyone.

The procedure is to click on the link they provide and fill out a simple form, where you can put in your nickname and password. so you will need to re-establish your nickname along with your password.

What we don't know, is if you can change your nickname. Many of us remember the problems with multi-nics and bashers, so hopefully, the new VW will get this right and we won't digress. I suspect most will be able to get their old nics back, as you can only do this right now, if you first get the email to re-establish things, so I would doubt that others will "steal" someone else's nic at this point.

What they didn't show is the option for the MR or MRS in the nic, so it looks like this form is a new one. Again, hope they can re-establish all the things that use to be or had evovled over the last several years based on their user feedback. They need to talk to us about how it use to be, because it does't look like many if any of them know that stuff, but rather are bringing things back based on what they can see of pages and layouts and not the ins and outs or details behind the scenes. Time will tell.

Quick note here to add, I myself am new to the VW staff, but so far everyone I have spoken with on the VW team has been here for many years and know this website like the back of their hand, so please do not worry about this. However, I would love some help becoming thoroughly acquainted with things once all the problems are solved. Just got mine,went to the site and did my email address,my nic and a password and was able to get to the Redclouds page. It seems that the BB and cam is not ready as I could not get into them. But I am now re-registered and hopefully the sites will be up and running soon. But things seem to be falling into place

If I am understanding this right it would seem that you had to provide an email address when originally subscribing as this is how they knew where to send the email to (and the initial billing confirmation), so using that email address where you got the reactivation email sent to should work. If I misunderstood this email me with more details.

Still haven't received mine nor an email response when I asked for the 5th time for verification. Sadly I had even provided my RC, HC, and FB username and password to Kate as well as billing twice. Also there hasn't been and response from Kiki about how VC can verify our username/password in secs and proceed to grant a free membership and VW can't do it after 6 weeks!! Yeah I know, just a little while longer and have patience because our boss is a perfectionist and the site won't be put up piece meal, we are working round the clock and the site will be out of this world!! LOL :lol: :lol: :lol:

haven't received mine and I , too, provided the email that was sent tome when I renewed last. They should have the correct email from the one I sent. I did get a reply to my questioning when I would receive mmu UN/PW from kiki she said no worries we will send it to you in due time

on a serious note, VC just had just to check in the old database if the combination UN+PW was correct, HC & RC had to reset all the combinations, assign new ones for EVERY active membership, link them with the user e-mail, assign the correct duration to the membership double checking the previous database, rebuild a database and a login module connected and finally send to every friggin member a personalized email with the new datas. And i may have lost some steps here and there, since i'm a bartender, not a webmaster.

Is it clear for you? I guessed it would have been quite obvious...

I got my email tonight but for some reason when I click the link I get just a blank page in my browser. Anyone else see this issue or have any suggestions to fix it?

We just found ours in the "Junk" e-mail file. But we got it and it worked!

Of course this only works for HomeClips. It does not function for our FunBags account.

Should we be expecting a second e-mail shortly?

Kiki what do I need to re-activate my redclouds membership? I rejoined in March, but don't remember my password as it was "remembered" by my computer. Also, how comew no new pics are up on any of the site? they are ALL from May... nothing new just that the site is up...

I got all 3 emails RC, HC, FB tonite and I get the blank page also.
