consistently and continuously maintain hope that the path

the general public, but it is an interesting observation
to say the least, that hope is still being maintained.

of this “experiment”. I would expect many a Doctorial Thesis to cum out of this

I think your analysis might be a bit skewed.
It is my understanding that the members and contributors that were an integral part of the community are not worshiping specters, spirits or anything else that
must be taken on faith. Some (most?) regular contributors feel betrayed, and have since moved on, or shut down and only rarely ,with extreme caution, express their opinions and concerns. Some lurking members excepted the $20 loss and are doing other things for now. Than there are members that get entertainment value from this fiasco, and stick around to see what will happen next. I think VW was a community, but it never was a cult.

This is no experiment and it is very unfair to say that the community members here are "followers" as you put it. They are the people who have made this site what it is for 15 years. There are issues and a ton of problems right now, I agree with this, but you don't go and leave your spouse of 15 years just because she or he gets sick for a month or so. Things are obviously getting better and beginning to work properly on the site, so there is nobody stringing anyone along. I get the frustrations you have about Kath leaving and how she left things, but Ghost is still doing his best and your "Kitty" will have to fight me for this spot, as I have no intentions of leaving this community as long as you all are happy with what I do.

Superguy you have to remember first and foremost this is their job. Yeah its a wonderful one I am very envious of, but still a job. Bills need to get paid in order for sites to run . No "traffic" equals no money which obviously leads to no site. In a perfect world everything would be free, but its not perfect by any means. Sh!t happens and there are assholes in this world( believe it or not) who want only to fcuk with the rest of us. Just chill out and enjoy the ride.
