Does anyone else see a similarity between what VW is doing now with the photos and Vids that were uploaded to RC and HC and what Igor did with the photos and vids that they are showing over at VC? In both cases, they have changed the way the photos are being used from the understanding that the contributors were lead to believe when they uploaded their photos. Igor took photos that were uploaded with the intention of having them displayed on a site called VoyeurWeb and posted them on a very similar site, and under very similar conditions. VW has taken the submissions to it's explicit areas, which were restricted to members only, and made them accessible to anyone...for free and without registration. I've never contributed to RC or HC, but if I did, I would have felt comforted by the fact that only people that took the time to register would be able to view them. I have posted several sets in the Playground, where I knew it was open to anyone to view, but I knew that when I uploaded...and submitted accordingly. I've saved my other pics for sites that are for registered members only. So I can definitely understand the concerns some people are now having...and I share them. I'm sure the terms of consent, or whatever waiver that had to be signed had enough loopholes in it to allow for this...what they've done might be legal...but is it right?

These are indeed legitimate concerns, and the VW people have now screwed their contributors in much the same way that the VC people have done. If there was another choice to make, while flushing BOTH of these sites, many would be ready to make that change. Talk about turds in punch bowls....
