I can't speak for others, but I'm cautiously optomistic. I can understand vw wanting to put up a high quality, bug-free site, so I check in, sigh, and hope they're efforts pay off soon. We'll see something, I'm sure.

This really makes no business sense at all. If you are coming back in a different format, for example, do you really want to create this kind of animosity in the very people that supported you? In a way, it makes me think you really are coming back in the old format at "some point". Otherwise, you'd gain so much more continued support by just saying, "Thank you, but we're closing up shop".

What you're doing simply makes no sense.

I think we have all been sucking on P.T. Barnum's pecker... I'm not really interested in a VW converted to video content that looks like amateur. If that is what will make up the new and improved site, what would make it any better than redtube or some of the other video sites already up and running?

In the meantime, VC, which started out looking shitty compared to the now defunct VW/RC, is starting to look better. I can't say if it is getting better or we are all having such withdrawal symptoms from the real RC and RC cam/chat that we are becoming satisfied with lesser offerings.

I keep checking back in the hope that something is up, but my check backs are becoming less and less frequent. At some point, we all give up.
