... WTF is wrong with some people?

I'm just browsing through some of the contris I didn't have time to look at over the weekend and I see this one: LINK. Good looking girl, nice body, pretty... a solid contri. Then I go to make a comment and I see someone's written this:

WHAT A PITY, SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HOT SEXY BODY, SENT DOWN THE DRAIN WITH THE INK, WILL YOU EVER LEARN???????

Really?!? Was that necessary?

Sure, not every set of pics will be for every guy (or girl) browsing the site, but do people have to say shit like that? Is it an attention thing? "Hey look at me, and how contrary I can be!" Or are these people really just general dickheads in real life as well?

I'd get it if people were criticizing the contri (artistic merit, effort, photography skills, etc)... but criticizing the person is a completely different thing! Were the people making comments like the one above just not brought up right?

Personally, I try to carry myself online in a way that accurately reflects who I actually am. I'm not willing to say something behind a keyboard that I wouldn't be willing to say to the person's face. And that works both ways... I wouldn't go and call a woman who submitted a set of pics a dirty slapper just 'cause I'm not into her look or I don't like the pics ... but I also won't post a graphic description of wanting to slide my dick into her, etc etc, or brag about how big my dick is ad nauseum and then post my email address asking her to send me more pics. Some ladies are into reading that... it's just not my thing. To each their own, but I highly doubt any woman posting pics on VW wants to get YELLED at because she's got some tats, or shaves her pussy instead of letting it grow out into a tangled mess (or vice versa), or anything else that triggers the assholes to post rude comments about her.

Fast - ink haters are nothing new. I stopped reading the comments because of it and other haters comments. Sure there are things I don't like but I just move on and sometime don't open the contri. I'm not into making someone else feel bad about themselves. And personally, I don't mind the tats.

The next contri might have some ass bitching about a shaved kitty while the one right after that will have some other loser berating a woman for growing her hair out. :roll: They really just don't comprehend the concept of moving on to the next set of pics without being a complete jerk to some random woman who has the guts to post pics of herself online. :|

I hear ya. We had a great couple from Ukraine post a couple of years ago. Iris and Veiia. She had a contri with her sister once and the sister had quite a bit of ink. All she got was shit comments, never saw her again.

I think the contributors can delete comments they don't like and we as viewers can report. The Sharkey software is supposed to auto respond but it just doesn't work well. The thing is, the girl can't unsee the asshole comments! It just sucks.

I have heard the volume of comments is enormous in any given day so it would be impossible to screen them before posting. It would be nice if the software could identify certain abusive words but it would be tough to do, especially since the language used for an abusive comment could contain the same words as one intended to be positive. IE, "I would so love to fuck that hot bitch" versus "you fucking bitch. "

Report what offends, it's about all you can do. Sadly......

Personally, I'm pissed! Sue is one of the ladies I really look forward to seeing each month.

Clearly there needs to be some sort of moderation of the comments section. People constantly posting shitty comments about the women who submit pics is unacceptable. If something isn't your cup of tea.... fine... but personal attacks need to be completely disallowed. If someone posts shit like that, suspend all comment privileges for that account. :roll: It shouldn't be that hard to do. People like that are ruining the site. If gorgeous women stop posting, VW dies. If people treat gorgeous women like shit, they stop posting.

Simple enough. Those people need to be removed!

Erm, it's Friday but kidding aside, I agree. Rude comments piss people off. I know I get pissed when it happens to me. Imagine how a woman feels reading repeated rude comments.

From several conversations, there are about two hundred thousand comments a day on VW. Policing them all is impossible. The ban issue is circumvented by multiple usernames. Easy to set up so that makes it harder.

I would think trigger words like fluffy water vapor in the sky, ie *****. Could trigger a comment hold. If we can asterisk *****, then why not? Que those accounts for examination and devote an hour a week to identifying the top offenders and simply block them from all. Comments on contri?

As a contributor it is tough reading those nasty remarks as we certainly all get them. We are not perfect molds by any means. Ink bashing... Tits too small or too big....heavy or too skinny. Blah blah blah.
Honestly I have had my fair share of bashing and that is one reason I like sharing on RC a bit better.... Much fewer trolls. The comments in RC are much nicer in my opinion.... But we do have the delete option and that's fine, but it does still hurt. I recall one I would get over and over again... Whoever it was kept saying that I looked like a halocaust surviver... And that I needed to eat some cheeseburgers. Lol...the comments need to be ignored if possible cause they will never ever end. Still sucks though that is for sure. Thanks for caring you guys... Yeah, I do find it odd that someone gets off by bashing someone who's sharing something so intimate. Maybe it's because I get more of a thrill by paying someone a kind word when deserving or even just sharing a simple smile. It makes all the difference in my day when I find the opportunity to do so. The choice to allow comments on your contris or to delete comments is a great option compared to what we used to have to deal with. 2 personal favorites : "Hairy Romanian" & "Pancake Breasts" ... sometimes you just gotta laugh. But it is true sometimes it can sting. I prefer to focus on the majority of positive comments and remember how much fun I had in creating what I share here in the first place. I've already gotten my thrills ... feedback is just extra icing on my muffin, hee-he-hee.

Ignore the haters! I like nice comments, emails PM etc and read them all. I respond to as many as I can too. The hater's just are so toxic, if they would just be positive, they would have better lives.

I agree Manda, but for me it's extremely difficult to ignore the Haters. I tend to want to get in their faces and tell them where to get off! But that doesn't work so well in the printed word. There's no "doubled up fist" emoticon to provide emphasis.

I've tried, on a few occasions, to come to the defense of a certain very blonde someone on the RCBB's. Her tormentor wasn't a hater so much as a "wannabe director." He posted semi-creepy stuff about what he wanted to see and sent PM's that were a little too personal and close to home. Nothing has worked so far, he goes away for a while and then he's back again. She has tried the "kinder gentler" approach too, because she's afraid of what he might do if she were to block him and make him too angry!

So, I get to be the heavy, a role I've been all to familiar with in real life! He still posts dumb inconsiderate stuff now and then, but at least his more venomous rants are directed at me now rather than her, and that suits me just fine!

Just be happy in the knowledge that there are way more of us who love you all you Gals for what you post, than there are trolls who get there rocks off by demeaning!

I'm sure most know my views on this. Was actually one of my very first topics posting in the Town Hall thread. I think it's ridiculous what gets posted as comments.
1) I have ink. So I have definitely had my share of "ruining my body" comments.

2) I don't shave completely. In my opinion, I keep my area trimmed and "under control" so what business is it of anyone else's whether it has no hair or not, they don't get to go down there anyway, hubby does and he likes it WHATEVER way I keep it, even if I get lazy! :o :lol:

3) I've had 3 kids. So apparently my body isn't as in shape as some commenters obviously think it should be, as I got told on my truck contri that I'm too fat and out of shape and need to exercise. Well, little do you know fucker, I OWN A GYM. So yes, I do actually workout. I can't help that my body shape is the way it is! But again, I'm happy and so is the hubby! So stfu!

4) A MAJOR ONE. I blur my face. Apparently that's a huge no-no in the VW world. I have a good idea how vast the number is of people that look at VW...I don't want any of them to say hey! I know her! And then make a deal of it in real life. Again, small towns can be ridiculous.

So, these are just 4 things that I've had personal situations with...but I've seen worse on others...and you're right, once you see those hurtful comments, even though you can delete them, you cannot UNSEE them.

Lots of people don't like ink, so just ignore those comments. Or maybe SAY don't comment if you don't like ink. Personally I am not into it, but saw a movie once with a gal that had a breast removed and did a rose over it and I thought it was fantastic and very classy done.

Being trimmed I think is the best of both worlds. Even some of the porn stars here have grown out their bushes example: Jan B is one. I also think it is between you and your hubby, mine likes it bare.

I think your body looks great in your propic, haven't seen a contri but can't say. However, it is true if you don't have a flat tummy don't show it, if you boobs sag stick them out, if you arms are a little fat there are certain poses. The truth is they do like slender gals. There are ways around it. Wear thigh highs they cover a huge amount of sin. Just lots of way to show your assets off and cover up the ones that aren't. If you want to be naked then except to get comments that aren't kind. Report them is another thing you can do.

Blurring face is old school. All you have to do is show your back, turn your head. There was a famous gal here (Crystal) and we never saw her face. In fact there was another one that did it for a long time and time finally showed her face.

Thank you Di, but I wasn't exactly asking advice or ways to avoid it, I was merely sharing my personal experiences on comments I've received. If I don't want those comments, I will just simply delete them (which is what I do) or I won't post. This post was about ridiculous comments that have been made.

Seems I've missed a bunch here. But Trinity, Bree, Manda, Di, and other ladies have it right. I don't understand how someone can make disparaging remarks for the effort and beauty you ladies go out of your way to share with us. We all have our dislikes in one form or another, but being disrespectful and downright mean shows what little class & upbringing one really has. These adolescents only know a woman by the airbrushed teens in a magazine or a porn movie. They never had a substantial relationship with a real woman nor for whatever reason never taught or comprehended any life skills & manors. Doesn't say much for there family life yet alone for there self esteem. These trolls should be ignored and thrown in the trash where they belong. Get in there ignorant face ladies by continuing to have fun in sharing your beauty with those that appreciate what you go out of your way to do for us. These Trolls are nobody and should be treated as such.
