Oh heck, education has little to do with native intelligence.

When I was a young manual laborer, I was just as smart as now but lacked the pieces of social paper to suggest that to strangers.

Eric Hoffer had no formal education at all, but wrote brilliant books such as The True Believer.

In the instance of Clowndolt, he was a dim bulb in his youth and remains so.
