The White House said it will not impose travel restrictions or introduce new airport screenings to prevent additional cases of Ebola from entering the United States.
Spokesman Josh Earnest said that current anti-Ebola measures, which include screenings in West African airports and observation of passengers in the United States, will be sufficient to prevent the spread of the virus. Earnest said President Obama has “strong confidence” in the man's medical care and the measures currently in place to prevent Ebola's spread.
CDC director supported the White House's position and claimed a travel ban could make Ebola outbreak worse. A travel ban from countries facing an Ebola outbreak could paradoxically make the problem worse, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Tom Frieden said during a Saturday press conference. Frieden said the CDC would consider precautions, but warned that a travel ban could make it harder to get medical care and aid workers to and from regions dealing with the outbreak. Frieden also said the CDC has experienced a spike in reported potential cases of Ebola following the first diagnosis of a patient in the U.S. in Dallas earlier this week, saying the rise in concern was a good thing. "We have definitely seen an increase in the number since this patient was diagnosed… that is as it should be," Frieden said.
It appears Obama wants to introduce Ebola into the United States as a means of helping Africans, Americans are being used as pawns as are the 4,000 plus troops being sent into the devil's den to wet nurse Africans, when their own military and the UN refuses to expose themselves to it.
Obama must go, then he must face criminal prosecution for manslaughter.
