gamjam, 1) I sent the ID/PW info too, unsolicited, mostly because I don't use the two anywhere else and the credit card I used to join RC is dead -- and it was out of optimism, which may prove to be unwarranted. 2) I've never been to VC, so I got no email notice...they apparently don't send to every email that was once on file at VW.

But still hoping here too. Faintly.
