Yes one of them. Please forward the email.

You seem to be saying any email from IP 192.168.1.1 is from Igor. Afraid not.

192.168.X.X is what is called a private block. All IP addresses in the range 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255 are unassigned and may be used by any network for their internal use. A regular IP address uniquely identifies a computer anywhere on the internet. A private block IP only uniquely identifies a computer on your local network. Many internet routers for instance come default configured as 192.168.1.1 and I believe windows also defaults to that address under certain cases. That is probably the source of this in the referred to email.

An IP in this range is in no way proof of any email senders identity. The blocks 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255 and 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255 are also private blocks which may be shared (and duplicated) by any and all networks.

If your web geniuses told you to look out for that IP address, you need to fire them and get new ones who actually understand the internet.

oh boy. And perhaps ask the web geniuses about AOL IP addresses as well.
Igor would be smart enough to use proxy servers.

Or use IgoVPN, since this is exactly what it is intended for.

I think you guys can safely assume anyone you think is Igor hiding behind a different account is not, because anyone in this field for this long has way too many tools at his disposal and way too much experience to do that in such an obvious manner.

He also has fervent adherents who are more than happy to come over here and muddy the waters or just be obnoxious. Then they go back there and brag about how they got under "Katherine's" skin or caused supposedly contradictory statements to be made, etc.

I wouldn't worry about who is Igor, and don't ban people just for being critical, only for blatantly obnoxious and disruptive conduct (like creating 25 new threads just to make BB a rats' nest).

Hey FAQ, you the FAQ with a piggy we all know and love?

Yep rugrollers, I'd say each site is about 20% true believers, 75% people just wanting their toys back, and 5% people who find the chaos more entertaining than the website ever was and will do anything to keep it going.

Hmmmm, 20 or 5% bracket.... well I don't really want it to keep going, so maybe not the 5%.

I know what you mean. I'm waiting patiently to see something here, but if there is not something "out of this world" on Sunday, I am going to feel very ill-used.

I agree, I seriously hope this isn't stonewalling. But at least now I know Igor was full of shit with his version of events.

By the way 192.168.1.1 is a non-routing ip address for the smarties (not that you will ever see this post due to the censoring). See ya all on Sunday

Igor manufactures drama. He would create supposed DNS attacks on his own site, so
he could fight them off. He posts a resume which had him working for fictitious companies.

The only time I saw him sweat was when he and his partner in Amsterdam had a falling out, and he had to hurriedly re-establish Watchcams back in the United States.

A refugee from the "refugees"? Or a former business associate? Or just a vagabond...?

Please do tell.

Our web geniuses do not need to be fired because I do not understand computer technicalities. I cannot even understand what you are saying here. I do not know that the IP of "marks" was 192.168 or whatever-- I do know that "marks" was traced to sharing the same IP as 'housemd" and housemd is definitely ***** because he posted on this website as Igor. I have that proof. Other than that, I do not know or understand IP addresses-- I will defer to our web geniuses about anything to do with IPs.

oh boy. If you think Igor posted here, then do you believe your infamous tits also made a post? Anyone could register the username "Igor". That does not make them Igor.

What many are trying to tell you is that some specific IP addresses will be shared by several individuals, not just one person with several usernames. Your "proof" is not as solid as you think. Some users have a fixed IP address, and others have a dynamic IP address. Still others use proxies.

Doesn't Voyeurweb offer an IP annonymity proxy service itself? It did if it doesn't now at least. One of the biggest problems sites have like Face Book is that the mobile interface is random. Not being techy, I cannot say much more but if they can't see the user and assign eyeballs to ads then it may be totally confusing to try and track who is who or whoever.

Sorta mind numbing to try and follow. I would strongly suggest all the principals act like adults, meet with each other and decide to get along. You have a golden goose, don't kill it.

It is oddly mesmerizing to follow these threads and hear the back gossip, but I'd be far happier to see some content appear on this site.

192.168.1.1 is the default address for a Linksys router. It's how u access the control functions. Millions of them were sold. I even have one. Barking up the wrong tree.

His business partner in Amsterdam was Dutch and operated the largest adult web site in the Netherlands. The partner and the partner's wife even traveled to Tampa, and the wife even went on camera at a competing site to Watchcams called Voyeurdorm. Both the partner and his wife, IIRC, had started as performers in live sex shows.

Watchcams from Amsterdam was initially successful, but there was a huge time difference for the American audience. Many of the initial group of girls were models, from the UK and Northern Europe, and most spoke very good English. But the initial group gradually were replaced by Eastern Europeans, many of whom spoke marginal English. The American audience plummeted, the American subscription dollars tanked, and I suspect that contributed to the end of the partnership. Part of Igor's problem was the difficulty in securing work permits for Americans to work in Europe.

I've seen more than enough drama queens on both sites to know that matching IPs are proof of nothing. There are plenty of people on both sides looking to manufacture conflict because frankly they find the show more entertaining than they found VW in the first place.

Did you trace the IP? Did it come from the correct city? Was it an actual final IP or an intermediate IP? Did the communication come through a proxy?

The simple fact is the internet was not designed to be truly secure (and what little bits of security it did have were largely removed in the growth process). There are so many ways to make yourself look like someone else and so many ways that appearance is is changed in routing, etc. and so many ways you can hide yourself that without a big smoking gun with fingerprints, his name stenciled on it, and a little string attacked back to his pinkie its not really proof.

I'll say what I said before - everything I've seen tells me Igor is too web-savvy to be caught is such a dumb-ass way as multi-nicing using the same PC. It is so easy and obvious to just set up and use your second account through a public anonymous proxy. Far more likely that the user is trying to look like Igor just to manufacture more show. Or the sender was drunk.

I will however agree that there are some mighty suspicious messages on both boards.

Defer to them on the issue of emailing passwords, too.
In fact, defer to them for all tech issues.
