Is there such a thing as chatrooms anymore? I just downloaded Yahoo messenger for the first time in... 4+ years. There used to be chatrooms accessible from there but not anymore apparently.

I don't have an answer to your question, but can give you an idea. Private message the first time and get each other's email and then you can write back and forth.
