Political discussions about everything

Demorats in Washington have drafted a new Bill that would allow police to enter your house for inspection/search purposes unanounced and without a warrant if you possess a "registered" weapon. If you don't let them into your home when they show up, it's a felony with up to a year in jail. Exactly they way the NAZI's started their take over.
“In order to continue to possess a weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall ... safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.”

In other words, come into homes without a warrant to poke around. Failure to comply could get you up to a year in jail.

Forget police drones flying over your house. How about police coming inside, once a year, to have a look around?

As Orwellian as that sounds, it isn’t hypothetical. The notion of police home inspections was introduced in a bill last week in Washington State.

That it’s part of one of the major gun-control efforts pains me. It seemed in recent weeks lawmakers might be headed toward some common-sense regulation of gun sales. But then last week they went too far.

“They always say, we’ll never go house to house to take your guns away. But then you see this, and you have to wonder.” “It’s exactly this sort of thing that drives people into the arms of the NRA.”

That’s no gun-rights absolutist talking, but Lance Palmer, a Seattle trial lawyer and self-described liberal who brought the troubling Senate Bill 5737 to my attention.

I have been blasting the NRA for its paranoia in the gun-control debate. But Palmer is right — you can’t fully blame them, when cops going door-to-door shows up in legislation. The prime sponsor, Sen. Ed Murray, D-Seattle, said he didn't read the whole 8 pages when he signed it, "the main thing is to get something in place for the safety of our children".

Never gonna happen. Some extreme moron always puts something like this into every bill initially. Then it is stricken from the bill. Both sides do it. BOTH.
I agree it'll never happen...because people won't stand for it, but the fact that they try to put something like that in a Bill exposes the left's real agenda.

The excitement is teabaggery.
No, the excitement is Liberalism - the dismissal is Liberalism - the fact that you claim people getting excited about some jackass trying to pass a law like this is not going to happen is more liberalism. We've seen that the Dumocrats want this, really want this badly, and they will do anything they can to get it, it's just a matter of time before another politician doesn't read what he's voting on....

The excitement is extremism Leroy. And though it does motivate the less intelligent, hyping it for politics is Teabaggery. Nonsense. JM is correct that none of this would ever be tolerated. Just like extreme legislation from the right wouldn't be.

Good lord it must be exhausting for you. And those around you?

And the government took over a long time ago. 8-)

Strange, you claim it won't be tolerated, but it's being enacted at the state level, and more and more increasingly it's being proposed at the state level. That politicians are even suggesting it should be grounds to have them removed from office, but, liberals want gun confiscation, so these dishonest politicians will continue their gun grabs to ensure that they can stay in power.

Althought how it's written won't be tolerated "today" ,it's a slippery slope. There are numerous things in the military that would have never been tolerated prior to Obama's desensitization and dismantling of the military's purpose and standards of conduct. There are numerous things in the Country that wouldn't have been tolerated in 2008 which are now "acceptable". The fact that 3 State Senators would actually signed the Bill as written indicates we're in a rapid slide in the direction they want us to go on guns. We can say it will not be tolerated, but we can't say is won't be tolerated.

Is there a bigger cuck piece of shit?
