Here are a few suggestions for the PROFILES we've been discussing. Anyone with ideas comments, jump in!

1 Thumbnails linked to full sized Propics would be a stellar return. The matter of how is the question. Ideally one simple upload of an image that would be then: copied to two images, one resized to board limits of 175x175 pixels, the other larger, say 800x800 as before OR add a second link within IT to the original Image, full size? This is doable, I've seen it demonstrated, so feasability isn't an issue.

2 Personal quotes to be added to the profile, people seem to like that sort of thing. Perhaps a few generic "get to know you" questions and answers. An email if desired...

3 HERE IS THE FUN ONE, a place to insert full sized pictures and video clips (See Vannesa B's Thread) in a personal Gallery WITH a spot to comment on each image? This part is harder. It SHOULD be easy to add the image code since it is ALREADY in the threads, like this here:

Rock, I think this is a great idea. The profiles could use a little sprucing up. I don't remember exactly what was on the old profiles but the larger propics have been missed. I'm sure Kiki is getting tired of hearing about that, but it was a really nice feature and one I'd like to see back.

I like the idea of being able to add multiple pics in the profile. It would be like a mini gallery of that person with previous propics or whatever was desired... as long as it met the criteria and rules of the site.

Profiles already link to e-mail... at least that is the way it displays when I click on a profile. It just doesn't show the address. I do remember in the old profiles you had the option of showing your address or not.

Personal quotes... are you talking about something different than the "signature" in the profile that shows up at the bottom of a post?

A few more questions or info would be nice. We can already show location, occupation, interests and birthday. Hmmm... what else could be added that wouldn't jeopardize any privacy issues that could arise? Hey, I just remembered the old COFF 10 question thing we did a couple of years ago. I'll go look at it and see if any of those questions might fit.

1.. When and How did you first come across VW? About 10 maybe a 11 years ago. One day my husband showed me Lindsey.

2..Who was your fave contributor when you first arrived and who are fave contributors nowadays?

3..What kind of sets do you enjoy most? Indoors, Outdoors, Beach, In the Woods, Bedroom, Bathroom or even in the Kitchen? I try to do outdoors when the weathers is good. I don't close to a beach or I would lots of them. In the foreset use to live by one. Bathroom just a few on the counter in the corner tub and shower. I usually pick a room that has nothing in it, so I can use my back drops. Kitchen I have been in the sink, have made naughty surgar cookies cooking views. It just depends what I am in the mood for. Summer is outside and try to find new places. As for winter and in doors, it just all depends I try to move around with different scene's in my pictures. I haven't done the kitchen table yet.

4..What has been your fave set or pics here past or present? I would say at one time I had one picture that was my best, however, once we got going I have to say I have so many favorites. Usually one or two in each set, and some sets lots of them.

5..Currently what do you find most enjoyable the camaraderie on the boards or looking @ the pictures?
I use to look at pictures to get ideas. However the boards are fun to chat with people.
6..What does being a member of COFF do for you? What has it given you?

7..What kind of camera do you use? digital cannon but looking to buy a new one that does more.

I am having a problem loading a propic. It won't load and resize and it won't load if I resize it either.


When will we get regular sized pro pics back?

OK COFFers, The PROPIC project is getting picked back up by Kiki so give her your thoughts and suggestions!

This is my basic list of desirable features. I'm going to use the "LIST" tab above to generate it and see how that works.

• larger sized propics either any size or max out at 1000x1000 or at a min 800x800
  
  The ability for the smaller thumbnail at 175x175 pixels that we use now to be automatically resized and generated from the larger one
  
  The ability to save within a personal scrap book any prior propics the user wishes to save. (ie when you load one you should have the option to default load the new one and then go back and delete the prior one if the owner wants to. Let's say she likes the first and third and is now on her fourth one, so she goes back to the second and clicks remove?)
  
  The ability to easily view those saved images by other users within the profile of that individual propic owner
  
  PERHAPS the ability to comment on the users scrapbook by other users AND the owner's ability to approve those comments or remove them? There is a balance between the ease of viewing and browsing the images and the ladies desire to make it just a little bit more of a challenge to find her personal images? I personally think, and I have discussed it and am not alone in this thought, but sometimes it doesn't need to be quite so easy to find things. (more on that later)
