Although much of the story is lost in the mists of time, this fine forum was founded by the indigenous Irish people who first populated the World Wide Interwebs.
In their honor, Mr Forbes will not be posting his trademark wisdom today.
Although that may slow the onward march of western civilization by one day, it is worth it to remember those stalwart men who settled the cybernetic Wild West of the online realm in those wild and wooly days of the early 1930s.
