Merchan should have recused himself given the anti-Trump activism of his leftist daugher.

That aside, that "judge" didn't want to issue a sentence because it would have swiftly been overturned by some appellate judge given the preposterous nature of the case.

So the whole farce has been adjourned until after January of 2029.
