I have been trying to write a reply to a post. Each time I do I get a message that it needs to be approved before it's posted. 18 hours so far. How long does this take? It's kinda hard to make plans when you can't answer.

Sorry about this time constraint, you will only need to be approved for your first three posts, after that you are good to go and all of your posts will be instant. This prevents the large amount of spam that comes in from "new users (ie spammers)" from making it onto the boards as the posts are not approved and their IPs are banned. Nobody likes to see "buy this cheap real designer bag filled with Viagra and steroids, oh and you will win a million dollars if you just send me $100 to Nigeria." Unfortunately the best way to prevent this is to have to approve the first three posts for a new user.
