I was talking with some of our guys who recently returned from Afghanistan and had observed a truck bombing at the main gate. The military commanders estimated that 7 tons of TNT were used in the bomb. It took out all three gate checkpoints, and a bunch of tents including a hospital compound and the medical staff and patients that were in it. They death toll was around 40 ISAF troops killed but they didn't know the American death toll. My number one question about this incident is why has it either not been reported or falsely reported in the media? It's a tragedy that so many people lost their life in the incident, but the lack of accurate reporting on it is unbelievable.
