This has happened twice now in the last 3 days where out of the blue the rcbb page won't load. I'm curious is it me or is there work being done. First time it happened it took all day before i could sign on. Today it happened around 2 or 3 pm and still can't sign on. Thanks Kiki for everything your doing....and a great job from everyone there.

Just a quick search on Google what is this Database Error here's the first thing that comes up sounds about right.


With respect, this error usually occurs on very cheap shared hosts where the host try to maximize performance, but to the detriment of usability. If the host is unable or unwilling to increase the values and if all else fails, look for a new host.

This error occurred for a very specific reason:

Someone attempted to hack our server and failed. It created a ridiculous amount of log files which messed up that partition and caused the database to crash.

We've restored the tables and it's working again now. Further precautions have been put in place in order to prevent such downtime from occurring again.

Pictures that were 'there' earlier this morning are now only there with filename but no picture?

You might want to consider a New IT Team. Unless it is an inside job a well designed site and datebase should be unhackable!

The boards are back up. It was an issue related to the first.

I'm working on the Live Cams and getting them back up and running.

There are many precautions put in place to protect the server, however these same protections can cause things to get shut down in order to prevent damage.

Unfortunately, we are getting continually attacked. They have been unable to actually hack into the site so the proper protections are in place, however they can still cause issues from the outside.

Please bear with us, we are trying to focus on the positive changes around here and get all functionally restored to the sites, however some outsiders are intent on making it difficult for us to efficiently move forward.

If your site is truely getting hacked, it may be the inept staff you guys have on board.
Seems after many months and nothing is clearly running right.
I would suggest getting help.

I have been helping to assist while also maintaining my emails and posting on the BBs. I have decent knowledge about various aspects of programming so can do some of the easier tasks and make the necessary phone calls to hosting companies, etc. which allows the programmers to focus on the big recovery issues.

Chat should be running correctly, we have it up and have been testing it throughout the afternoon, please let me know if any further issues with it so I can address these problems ASAP. Thanks!
