there really isn't a "good" "Free" editing program anymore. There are some cheaper ones that work alright. Truth is, if you want perfection, you have to pay today.

So what are you looking to do with the editing program. Remove red eye? most free and $$$ can do that, remove fat? have to pay to play.

Things like cropping, putting pictures side by side, warmth, contrast, and brightness. Is Aviary free? thanks for the tips on braless pics. Good ideas I'll incorporate.

Picasa 3 free from Google has a few other features too.

You buy a program that isn't to expensive and do so much with it.

If you don't try, you don't know if you would have failed or succeed.
