Trump's grandaddy of all of his campaign promises was to completely repeal obamacare.

Now all of a sudden after a few days on the job he's said that he will not repeal obamacare!

Trump had said all along he liked the ability of a kid to stay on a parental plan.

Also liked universal coverage, but opposed the Obamacare individual mandate (which was, and is, unconstitutional despite John Roberts' sophistry).

For simplicity, might be easier to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a plan including the few good elements of Obamacare.

Saying Trump broke promises BEFORE being sworn in is dumb, but then so is Elkin.

Donald J Trump never advocated for an overhaul of Obamacare, he was for "repealing and replacing" the program. Trump called Obamacare a disaster. And after a few days on the job he's flip flopping on his promise to "repeal and replace" Obamacare.

Yes, he wanted to repeal and replace.

But he like a number of features for any new plan, and most people agree with that.

All of the Repub plans, including the Paul Ryan one Obama rejected at the outset of the formation of Obamacare, included existing conditions and parental plan.

CNN's reporting on this has been uninformed too.

The way I see it, the election was not about promises....
It was about not allowing Obama a third term.....

Most Repub health care plans, long before Obamacare, had preexisting conditions and parental on them.

This is NOT Trump going back on his word.

For simplicity, repeal would be best.
