NFL ratings plunge, NFL confused as to the reason

Wear non-approved cleats? 25K fine.
Celebrate a TD? 25K fine.
Disrespect a couch or owner, 50K fine.
Disrespect another player, penalty.
Disrespect our veterans, police, and American values? Go for it. Kaeperdick disrespecting America got him promoted to starter and they wonder why millions of Americans have taken a knee to watching the games.

Tool, if you don't want sports to exhibit "sportsmanship" or following the rules as an important aspect of the game, then just watch hockey fer cripes sake.
They still have a lot of brawls, lost teeth, and open disrespect for all you troglodytes in the the audience.
Or skip the niceties of sports entirely and just tune in UFC fighting. You get to see all the bloody savagery you crave.
The ratings are great!

"Rolapp and Katz,[the NFL’s top media executives] said they see “no evidence that concern over player protests during the national anthem is having any material impact on our ratings.” "-Newday
Well THAT pretty much makes a complete fool of RealTool.
He thinks it's outrageous that players get fined for using cleats that could injure other players and damage the playing surfaces, but he refuses to watch the game as long as some players take a knee during the Anthem.
As we all know, kneeling is good enough to show reverence for God every Sunday, but apparently dimwitted hypocrites feel it's insulting to veterans and America.
Many high school teams take a knee before every game as have for decades.
I guess they are all insulting America too, right Tool?

Clownswisher has taken a knee many times.
Alas, it was during his towel boy era in Frisco.

Here we have the epitome of AssClown's silly ass word game. He tries to twist kneeling in church into equating with showing respect to the flag. Flag etiquette has always called for standing, removing any headgear (unless you are a uniformed member of the military, in which case you render a hand salute, or if armed with a rifle, present arms) placing your right hand over your heart and face the flag. Kneeling only shows disrespect, which is something AssClown Loser Tool approves of.
And is how we view AssClown Loser Tool and all his unpatriotic America hating ilk.
And now we will have a demonstration of his impotent rage and emoticon spewing hate.
Perform, trained chimp!

"Rolapp and Katz,[the NFL’s top media executives] said they see “no evidence that concern over player protests during the national anthem is having any material impact on our ratings.” "-Newday
NFL media executives see no evidence, those same two "media executives" just told the Washington Post that all networks airing NFL games are down.
Football, America’s biggest prime-time powerhouse, has been thrust into a crisis this fall, with dwindling ratings sparking questions over whether it can remain a gold mine for television in an age when more Americans are abandoning traditional TV. The NFL has never seen a drop as dramatic as this year’s, Nielsen data shows. In 2008, for example, ratings over the course of the year declined 2 percent, and in 2000 they declined 10 percent. During the first five weeks of this year, ratings have declined 15 percent compared with the entirety of last year.
In an internal NFL memo sent last week and given to The Washington Post, two league executives, Brian Rolapp and Howard Katz, wrote that “all networks airing NFL games are down” and that “primetime windows have clearly been affected the most.”
No evidence

Yes, Tool, no evidence for your idiotic claim.
And why didn't you post the rest of the article explaining the drop?
Because it makes you out to be the lying troll you are.

"His Lordship tries to twist kneeling in church into equating with showing respect to the flag."-StupidfuckLoserBoy
No, that's a lie, you imbecile.
What you clowns are doing is twisting courtesy into disrespect.
A "lack of respect" is not the same thing as "disrespect" any more than a lack of love for someone is hatred for them, you dishonest liquid turd.
Kneeling quietly is perfectly courteous behavior, just as I sit quietly in someone's church at a funeral or wedding.
I can despise the religion but show the decency to be quiet while in someone else's house.
That is not "disrespect". It is showing common courtesy.
The world contains nuance.
Kaepernick's kneeling harms NO ONE in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER, but conservatives can't tolerate a difference of opinion, as johnforbes points out repeatedly.
You aren't happy with just being left alone. You want to force everyone to do what you want them to do, and nothing else is acceptable.
I would be thrilled if religious folk and flag-waving 'patriots' just left me alone, but they don't. Just turn on the news.
You simpleton reactionaries are only capable of binary thinking. Everything is all one thing or all another.
Grow up, for cripes sake.

At least 44 percent of NFL fans said they would actually stop watching the games if the National Anthem protests continue, according to a new Yahoo survey.
MMMM wonder why NFL ratings have plunged? Climate change?

You and RealTool need to sign up for the same ESL class, silldummy.
What I wrote is perfectly correct.
As I said, I "lack respect" for religion, but I never "disrespect" religion in their own houses.
Sitting quietly in a pew does not disrespect anyone, even if the others are standing or kneeling or writhing or groveling on the floor.
If it did, then no toddlers or elderly or handicapped people or adherents to other faiths could ever be allowed to enter a church.
If you CHOOSE to be offended by someone sitting in a pew or quietly taking a knee on the sidelines, that's your choice and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's YOUR problem, not theirs.
So silly, when you can make a case for your point of view, get back to us.
When you can show that something I said isn't true, get back to us.
Your first stop is the dictionary, which conservatives seem to religiously eschew.

I never "disrespect" religion in their own houses.
Dude, what kind of sentence is that? Religion doesn't live in a house, it lives in a person's soul. First you think the NFL's ratings plunge is the result of climate change and now you think religion lives in a house.

"You know exactly what he means, Tool."-Dogzilla
"Nope, explain it for us [indecipherable gibberish]"-RealTool
Dog, you're wrong. RealTool really doesn't know the various meanings of the English word "house".
RealTool is the one who ridiculed me for saying "both houses of Congress."
He knew perfectly well there is only one House and one Senate, not two houses.
Seriously. That's one example of many for why I keep telling him he needs remedial ESL classes.
Now he is making up two other stupid things.
First, he's pretending that I claimed religions "live in a house" (whatever that means.) Like Insipid, that's just how bad Tool's reading comprehension is. My post is right there for all to see. If I had said it, he could produce a quotation to prove it, but he can't. Instead he just made up some stupid shit as a distraction because he can't argue with anything I actually said.
And secondly, he's pretending that he has never heard of a church or synagogue or mosque or temple being called a "house of God."
Stupid diversions are just what ignorant trolls do.
Look at all the posts by johnforbes, Insipid, RealTool, and sillydaddy. Not one of them could take issue with a thing I actually said and not one of them could make a case for another opinion on the issue, but every one of them manged to whine and slobber and whimper impotently.
Most likely this is because they actually agree with me but are just such hypocritical pussies they can't admit it.

I disagree.
While running yesterday, a group of us saw a snake on the pavement.
I bent over, spit at it, and it moved away.
Thus, Clownhicker is wrong that my saliva is impotent.

As the National Football League's Week 6 went into full swing Sunday, it has become clear that its TV ratings plunge is real, serious, and having a bottom-line impact. At the same time, there's a growing determination in the establishment press to avoid citing the "(Colin) Kaepernick effect" of player protests during the playing of the national anthem as a contributing factor.
It's one thing to bring the anthem topic up and then try to dismiss it. It's quite another to pretend it isn't there, despite polling which, for all of its potential shortcomings, indicates that there has been clear fan outrage over the antics of Kaepernick and other players during the season's opening weeks. Recent lengthy items in the Washington Post and at two other national outlets don't even contain Kaepernick's name or the word "anthem."
The Washington Post's Friday evening item (HT Gateway Pundit) is the worst offender.
In over 1,000 words, Post business reporter Drew Harwell cited almost every conceivable cause under the sun except fan outrage over the anthem antics for the NFL's sharp ratings decline, while seemingly pretending that a longer-term development — "more Americans abandoning traditional TV" — came into being all of a sudden this year:
The NFL is paying for their choice to let racists, parade their racism during games. Advertisers I dropping their ads or demanding lower rates since there are fewer viewers. It's simple, when the players respect the flag and anthem the ratings will go back up, until then owners are going to take it up the shorts, their decision.

Remember what happened to Sterling, owner of the LA Clippers...he was labeled a racist and the NBA
demanded he appease the niggers by giving up his livelihood.....
So the NFL owners are afraid the same will happen to them...
if they scold their niggers while Obama is still President. :o

You hit the nail on the head! The owners are claiming the drop in viewers is everything from climate change to the new Simpsons series, where everyone of them know it's racist gone wild, the owners are damned if they and damned if the don't.
The owners of the 49'ers tossed Kaepernick a bone by letting him move up to starter quarterback in an attempt to bribe him into behaving, the results... a 45 to 16 lost to the Bills yesterday on Kaepernick's first game. Kaepernick was scheduled to be axed so he started his white man protest, knowing that the 49'ers would have no choice but to retain him or be labled racist.
Same logic Fox new anchor Shepard Smith is using. His rating plunged on is new program and he's terrible, when a crisis hits he acts like Tim Kaine, making all kind of wild statements "Like this storm is going to kill your children, climate change is knocking on our doors" during Matthews. He was on his way out the door so what does he do? Well he can't play the race card so he proclaims "HEY I"M GAY" Now let them try and fire him.
