'We'll shoot down US warplanes': Russia warns coalition jets carrying out air strikes over Syria will be targeted. Russia has ordered the US to stop carrying out airstrikes on Syrian army positions, warning that sophisticated air defense systems are now up and running and will be used. Putin has also ordered the deployment of S-300 and S-400 units to defeat ISIS and has warned the US to leave Syria.

It certainly wasn't what Obama wanted. He wanted a single payer system.

Eliminating a single payer option is what the Republicans wanted, and they succeeded.

So what we got is the Romney/Republican health care 'solution' instead because Obama wasn't strong enough to stand up to them.

Obama said pass "this plan" and rates will go down, everyone will have insurance, care will be better and no one will have to switch their doctors. "His" plan was passed, he didn't say this plan is not what I wanted so it won't work.
