The Buffett Challenge

Will Trump fork them over????
Business magnate Warren Buffett took on Donald Trump over his refusal to release his tax returns -- issuing the real estate mogul a challenge to put his cards on the table.
Speaking at a Hillary Clinton rally in Omaha, Nebraska today, the multi-billionaire joked he would meet Trump "any place, any time between now and election" to go over each other's tax returns. The GOP nominee has claimed that he can't release his tax returns because he is being audited.
"Now I've got news for him, I'm under audit too," Buffett said. "There are no rules against showing your tax returns and just let people ask us questions about the items that are on there."
Buffett instead suggested that Trump is withholding his tax returns intentionally.
"You're only afraid if you got something to be afraid about," he told to the crowd. "He's not afraid of the IRS. He's afraid because of you."

The only people that give a flying fuck about Trump's tax returns are people who hate Trump and Killery's Useful Idiots. If he released them all you haters would just find more to hate on. Nothing would be gained.
I find it hilarious you are foaming at the mouth over some tax returns and couldn't care less about all Killery's lies and multiple felonies and assorted flagrant violations of various laws.
But then libtards can never be accused of consistency.

Well, silly, if you're going to use running for President as your excuse for releasing your returns, then you should know that every presidential candidate up until Trump has released their returns.
Why is Trump breaking with convention? What is he trying to hide? As Buffett said, being audited is no reason not to release them.
Most likely Trump's trying to hide that he only paid 5% in taxes, or perhaps even less, or that he doesn't have an income large enough to support his claims of great success and wealth.
What do you think it could be, silly?

OMAHA, Neb.
Billionaire investor Warren Buffett says he'll do whatever it takes to defeat Donald Trump — including escorting people to the polls himself.

I think what you can take from the Buffet article is that since reactionary tools support a guy whose only qualification to be president is that he has made a lot of money, then they should really be impressed by a guy who has made ten times as much money as Trump, right?
Buffet must be that much smarter and qualified to know what he's talking about than Trump.

Grog/Malcolm, being Canadian you don't get a vote and your opinion doesn't matter.
But please tell us what brand of wool yarmulka (with handy fold down ear flaps) you prefer for those fringed Can-a-duh winters.

Hell, I don't even do my own tax returns, because of my business, I'm betting Trump doesn't either. I'll even go out on a limp and bet he has more people working on his taxes than I do, all he does is sign all the pages, like I do.

So Tool, what you seem to be saying is that you too think Trump has no excuse for not following historical precedent of releasing his tax returns because he has a highly qualified team of professionals making sure they are done correctly?
Wow, you're the first reactionary to come out and take that position.

How come you simpletons can't understand no matter what his tax returns would show, all he did was sign them. He didn't use turbotax

How come you simpletons can't understand no matter what his tax returns would show, all he did was provide the information to the accountants and it could show that he's a crook and a liar.

If Trump's tax returns suggested that he was making money hand over fist, which would support his self proclaimed 10 BILLION DOLLAR net worth....
Then we sure would have known about it by now!!!

Do you "really" think Trump provided them the information? I'm just a small business owner but even I have someone who collects and maintains all the information that's needed for tax returns, that's why I have that person. I'm betting Trump even has someone that does it full time for him, maybe even more than one.

Elkin is just being dishonest.
I've previously taken the time to explain to Elkindope that tax returns show little, and that what you want to see are financial disclosures.
Which Trump has previously given.
Buffett is just artlessly playing his usual Democrat politics.
As to SAT and grad record scores, all candidates -- of any party -- should want to disclose them.
But the Obamas STILL have secret SAT and LSAT scores.

I located this post, made 2 years ago, related to this topic.
It is even more wise than when it was made long ago, in the sultry summer of 2016, before Trump's glorious win saved America:

Trump claims that he wants to meet with Mueller but his attorneys won't let him is equivalent to Trump claiming "I want to show you my tax returns, but they're under audit."
Trump is guilty!
