Elkindope did a lot of work to establish his reputation as the dumbest person on the Internet.

Globally, there are about 1/2 billion people online, so Elkin had a lot of stupid people to compete with.

Would someone please explain to johnforbes that when someone is said to be "lopping" heads, they aren't actually cutting off anyone's head.

And it is just a reasonable to say that Trump is "lobbing" heads, which of course doesn't mean that he is literally throwing them aside either, just so you don't worry too much about it. It just means Trump is tossing people aside, figuratively

Trump could just as easily be "lobbing" heads as "lopping" heads. It's just a silly saying.

But with johnny, if it isn't a tired cliche or platitude that has been overused to the point of being meaningless, then it ain't good English to him.

That's part of what makes posts by johnforbes so dull and uninteresting.

I posted on topic, the gist of which is "someone on this board is stupid." I HAD to point out johnny's stupidity in order to show who the stupid one is.
I explained why johnny's POSITION on "lobbing vs. lopping" is stupid. I didn't just say that he is stupid without explaining that he is wrong, whether or not elklindo made a mistake. Even if elklindo made a mistake, johnny's need to only speak in established cliches is still more stupid than the initial mistake. Either "lopping" or "lobbing" is just fine in this context.
