Obama - I support the one under criminal investigation

Barack Obama's spokesman announced the FBI's probe into Hillary Clinton's classified email scandal is a 'criminal investigation' on Thursday, less than an hour after the president endorsed his embattled former secretary of state to succeed him.
Obama also had a closed door meeting with the DOJ this morning, the only reason the White House would announce Hillary is under criminal investigation for her emails is that the DOJ or FBI are about to make an announcement themselves.

Yes, that's the FBI's job...to investigate. That's what the acronym stands for...right?
Federal
Bureau
of
Investigation

Surely, before endorsing her, he spoke with Loretta Lynch to be certain she wouldn't charge Hillary with anything.
So far, people believe the FBI is a neutral investigative agency.
If you look at the relevant statutes, it is crystal clear -- and undeniable -- that Hillary broke them, and intent plays no role in that breach.
The fix must be in for Hillary, but if so that is a sad day for America.

There is no doubt the fix is in, the big question is will the people accept a leader who put a private server in her bathroom and reveal to the world where our next drone strike will be and who the CIA agents involved are where they're operating out of. All to avoid oversight of her dealings.

And I suppose Trump will be releasing those tax returns which will verify his 10 BILLION DOLLAR net worth. And all of his other "business dealings." I wonder if he has written off all of those political contributions as "business expenses" which were used to get building permits?

Clown compares tax returns to exposing our CIA operations and their identities to conceal oversight.

Elkin is also being foolish in thinking tax returns confirm net worth.
They don't.
If Elkin doesn't believe Trump is quite worth 10 billion, what difference does that make since he thought Romney was too rich with 1/2 billion?
Does Elkin realize that a person with even 1 billion is really, really rich?
We would all love to be worth what Romney is worth, or even close to it.

Obama implied today that the FBI's investigation of Hillary's emails is frivolous.
"Our government has limited resources, so it's disheartening to hear members of Congress claiming more could have been done to monitor Omar Mateen; after all it's those same members of Congress who have tied up federal investigative assets, on frivolous politically driven investigations."

Why Donald Trump's Tax Returns May Prove He's Not That Rich
On two occasions, this writer has spent weeks striving to demystify the Vatican’s finances. Now I’m attempting to solve the riddle of Donald Trump’s income and net worth. Pope Francis, who recently exchanged barbs with Trump over immigration, has bravely promised to open the Vatican’s books. Trump sounds less righteous in claiming that he won’t publicly release his tax returns while he’s being audited by the IRS, but does pledge to eventually make the highly anticipated filings public.
Until then, voters can glean a great deal of information from two sets of documents the Trump campaign has already provided: A balance sheet released in June, when Trump declared his candidacy for President, and a 92-page Personal Financial Disclosure (PFD) form submitted to the Federal Election Commission a month later.
Neither document is as telling as a tax return would be. But when closely read together, you can learn a great deal about Trump’s financial affairs. Here’s the most concerning thing I learned: Trump appears to have overstated his income, by a lot, which could be the reason he has so far tried to avoid releasing his returns.
In July, Trump’s campaign in the press release that accompanied the financial filing stated that the candidate made $362 million in 2014. In fact, a close reading of the two documents, especially the PFD, shows that number is actually Trump’s revenues, and not his income, which should be after salaries, IT costs, interest and all other expenses. Indeed, the filing specifically labels these items under such headings as “revenue,” “sales,” “royalties,” “commissions” and other categories—clearly designating them as gross receipts rather than taxable income.
What is Trump’s actual income by my calculations? If I am generous, about half of what he claims, but possibly as little as a third. If that’s the case, and I believe it is, Trump’s net worth is likely a lot less than what he says. It would have to be, or else Trump’s income is pretty modest for someone claiming to boast a net worth exceeding $10 billion. (I’ll show you how I get to my numbers in a little bit. I reached out to the Trump campaign to double check my math, but didn’t hear back.)

So Elkin, Romney was too rich for you with 1/2 billion.
But you think Trump has less than 10 billion.
Okay, cut it in half, he is worth 5 billion -- far more than Romney.
Elkin, you are envious.
Heck, so am I.
But, even assuming Trump is worth 1/2 his net worth estimate, it remains difficult to fairly value a person who mostly owns land, golf courses, etc.
What is my land worth? Well, I have no idea absent some willing buyer showing up and offering x dollars.
You can't rely on an appraisal for taxes, that's for sure.
