I heard an interview the other day with one of the women the NYT used to try to cast Trump as an abuser of women. She said that one day when she was with Trump she received a phone call from a gifriend who was rushing to New Jersey to be with her father who had been admitted to a local hospital and was in critical condition. She had no place to stay and no money for cab fare to get back and forth. Trump, hearing one side of the conversation, told the woman he would send his car to pick her up from the airport. He would be gone but she could stay at his apartment in Trump towers and he would have his helicopter fly her back and forth to the hospital so she could be with her father.

All this for someone he had never met. Yes, he must be a real abuser of women.

By the way, the NYT, after every woman quoted in the story has come forward to vociferously refute the lies attributed to them, is now trying to negotiate with Trump to avoid a lawsuit over their ill advised hit piece.

But clearly, this was an attempt to smear Trump and it would serve the Times properly if he did sue them.
