Asked for a Danish city, Todd's guess was "Amsterdam."

Followed up tonight by alarmingly dumb Anderson Cooper and Lara Logan.
On the plus side, Canadian socialist Alex asked about the disarray in the Republican Party, but failed to note equal discord among the Democrats.
As witness the close voting this very evening in Kentucky.

He asked Michael Steele, the former chair of the RNC, about the disarray in the GOP. Undoubtedly it was not spontaneous, but rehearsed with Steele's approval and participation. Besides that, the disarray in the GOP is quite newsworthy and unintentionally hilarious.
As I recall, Logan and Copper, dimwits to be sure, outshined the former chair of the RNC.
Keep trying, Forbes. Maybe on today's program they will have all gay participants and all gay questions so you will feel included.

You are correct that Steele couldn't answer anything.
But that doesn't reduce the really alarming stupidity of Anderson Cooper and Lara Logan.

Yet, their alarming ignorance did not reach the depths of Michael Steele's, the former leader of the RNC.

I wouldn't call them "ignorant" for lack of ability on a quiz show.
After all, quiz shows simply demand instant recall and wide information.
For instance, Einstein would likely have done poorly on "Jeopardy!" but obviously had deep knowledge of math and science.
Presumably, though, all three of those people felt their appearance on the show would shed credit on them, and it did the opposite.
Give Anderson Cooper credit, though. Just last year, he was on the show and couldn't figure out where Indiana was on a map.
Really.
But at least he was amiable enough -- dare one say, carefree and gay enough? -- to go on the show again and reveal just how dumb famous folks can be.

Like your presumptive nominee, you don't understand the difference between dumb and ignorant. That's probably because you, like your presumptive nominee, possess both in plentiful abundance.

johnny, they're entertainers in show biz and raising money for charity. It isn't rocket science.
"Presumably" they thought their showing up would be good for a worthy cause.
"Presumably" they thought the usual questions would be dumbed down to a point where they could have fun with the show.
"Presumably" they thought there wouldn't be arrogant and petty assholes in the audience taking every little brain fart seriously.
But as we can all see, they were wrong about the "petty-assholes-in-the-audience" thing.

Grog, actually I understand that distinction quite well.
Clowntoker, because I agree with 90 percent of your prior posting, I must assume a solar eclipse is nigh.

You should understand the distinction because you're willfully and proudly afflicted by and with both, But because you are willfully and proudly afflicted by and with both, you are incapable of understanding the difference. lol
That's why you will excitedly Vote Trump in 2016!

Grog, please don't insult Clownhicker in that manner.
Courtesy is our watchword here.
As to Anderson Cooper, didn't he graduate from Yale? That used to be a good school, but he is shockingly uneducated in some ways.
But, for a gay liberal on TV, he doesn't seem like a bad sort.
