Belgium knew about planned attack but didn't tell themselves

It's come out they knew there would be a planned attack on the Brussels airport but the information wasn't passed on out of privacy concerns. Turkey Says It Deported Ibrahim El Bakraoui And Warned Belgium In 2015 that he was a terrorist (he's one of the airport bombers), Belgium ignored it. In August of 2015 Interpol issues a "red alert" calling for the arrest of Ibrahim El Bakraoui, Belgium ignored it. Instead Belgium provided him with public assisted housing and monthly social assistance checks. The Paris bomber Salah Abdeslam, the most wanted man in the world hid out just one block from his parent's home for four months in Belgium and wasn't caught until a concerned citizen call Interpol and said this is where he's at, they pressured Belgium into arresting him. Just two weeks ago the Belgium government took out a television ad making light of those who fear Muslims immigrants and described how Muslims have made their country a better place to live.
It appears Belgium is more interested in protecting immigrant Muslims than their own native citizens. The chickens have come home to roost. Let's just hope there are enough people in Belgium that have enough backbone left to hold those responsible for enabling the terrorists to kill so many people.

When Trump said in January that Belgium was a mess and had been radicalized, many in Belgium joined liberals in America in saying Trump was wrong.
Sadly, he was 100 percent correct.
As Connie Francis sang, "Who's Sorry Now?"

Sadly it appears the only people left in Belgium with a backbone are the Muslim immigrants and they have a mission with very little standing in their way. Oh well!

Been to Brussells a number of times on Army errands, and it is a beautiful town, but the folks there these days are simply delusional.
Even Bill Clinton said there were problems with all the Euro immigrants.
Europe has destroyed its greatness with socialism and stupid immigration policy.

EU ordered Belgium to close security holes weeks before Brussels attacks. European Union officials ordered the Belgian government to rectify several gaps in the country's security three weeks before three suicide bombers killed 31 people and wounded 270 others in the Belgian capital.
The report is the latest to spotlight a series of security holes that critics say has made Belgium a crossroads of terror, enabling jihadists to plot attacks all across Western Europe. Other security issues included blank visa stickers not being kept in a secure area and agents' computer monitors being placed in full view of passengers whose passports were to be scanned.
News of the multiple security lapses came hours after Turkey's president revealed Wednesday that one of the Brussels bombers, Ibrahim El Bakraoui was caught in June 2015 near Turkey's border with Syria and deported, at his own request, to the Netherlands, with Ankara warning Dutch and Belgian officials that he was a "foreign terrorist fighter."
A Turkish official said the bomber was allowed to go free because Belgian authorities could not establish any concrete terrorist activities in Belgium.
Ibrahim, 29, received a nine-year prison sentence in 2010 for shooting at police following an attempted robbery of a currency exchange, while Khalid, 27, served a brief sentence for attempted carjacking.
Investigators believe Ibrahim was one of two men who blew themselves up in the departure hall at Zaventem Airport Tuesday morning, killing at least 11 people. Khalid is believed to have carred out a suicide bombing at a central Brussels subway station, killing at least 20 people.
Belgium has yet to explain why both were let out of prison without serving their sentences.
OK, the President of Turkey himself notifies Belgium this guy is a terrorist, the terrorist shot at Belgium police during a robbery but yet Belgium don't want to offend Muslims so they allow him to roam free in Belgium while collecting social assistance. Result numerous people slaughtered and wounded, Belgium's response "These bombings are not a reflection on our Muslim immigrants, we will not infringe upon their rights and let the terrorists win"
My advise, consider Belgium a lost cause and avoid traveling through it.

Raids targeting terror suspects continued Sunday across Belgium as riot police used water cannons to disperse a group damaging memorials in the capital.
At Place de la Bourse, police broke up crowds who authorities said were throwing rocks and bottles and trampling on tributes to the 31 victims of Tuesday's bombings. Some arrests were made, though police didn't immediately say how many.
Spitting on and destroying memorials to bombing victims wouldn't even happen in Chicago, Belgium is lost.

Heard a report the other day that the Belgian cops are not allowed to raid a residence between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
A very civilized way to fight terrorism, no?

That's correct, plus they're not allowed to do wire taps on terrorists.

Some of them may have been neo Nazi libtards thugs but everyone protesting was doing so in defense of Muslims, in fact many of them were Muslims, only libtards would defend Muslims by destroying flowers laid in memory of the bomb victims.

Police at Brussels airport have claimed at least 50 Islamic State supporters are working there as baggage handlers, cleaners and catering staff.
In an astonishing open letter, the officers said they have warned about the terrorist sympathisers whose security badges give them access to planes, but they remain employed.
The airport police, who are threatening to go on strike because of security deficiencies, also said they have raised the issue of terrorists scouting the airport to plan possible attacks. Police raised concerns about inadequate security at the airport just four days before the attack took place.
The Belgian police union, NSPV, told the interior ministry on Friday 18 March that they would go on strike unless it was improved. Alain Peeters, the general secretary, said: ‘The sad events of 22 March demonstrate that our concerns are justified.
An uncle of Ibrahim and Khalid el-Bakraoui last week told how the brothers had been employed at the airport and would have gained intimate knowledge of the terminal destroyed in the carnage.
The man, who asked not to be named, told the Mail: 'They worked cleaning at the airport and in a restaurant. They didn't finish high school in the end. They cleaned the airport in the summer months.'
Ibrahim, 29, and bomb-maker Najim Laachraoui detonated suitcase bombs in the airport. A third man, only known as ‘the man in the hat’ or ‘the man in white’ was also seen on airport CCTV but ran when his bomb failed to explode.
Khalid, 27, blew up a nail bomb on a Metro train at Maelbeek station shortly after the airport attack.
All I can say is "LIBTARDS" are running Belgium and unless the citizen kick them out of office, they'll continue to be victims.

"Police at Brussels airport have claimed at least 50 Islamic State supporters are working there as baggage handlers, cleaners and catering staff."-RealTool's reactionary handlers
And what is RealTool's evidence for this nonsense about known ISIS supporters working at the airport?
A supposed (but oddly invisible) letter from a union who want more people hired to get on the gravy train.
Well Tool, it's good to see you are here supporting more people working for unions now.
But at least you easily duped johnforbes with this one, which ain't sayin' much, I admit.

The airport and Brussel's police say so! Two of the bombers also worked at the airport before deciding it was easier to milk the system than work.

Like I said, Tool, it's good to see you supporting the unions, dimwit.

The aviation and general security services firm ICTS handles security operations at Brussels airport, the scene of a bomb attack yesterday morning.
ICTS was established in 1982 by former members of Shin Bet, Israel's internal security agency and El Al airline security agents, and has a major presence around the world in airport security including operations in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Japan and Russia. ICTS uses the security system employed in Israel, whereby passengers are profiled to assess the degree to which they pose a potential threat on the basis of a number of indicators, including age, name, origin and behavior during questioning.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ICTS is Menachem J. Atzmon. Atzmon is a former Likud party member who was indicted and convicted in 1996 in a fraud and embezzlement case relating to the misappropriation of funds raised by charities. Atzmon is also the CEO of the port authority of Rostock in Germany. ....
