WASHINGTON — Republicans in favor of putting off consideration of a Supreme Court nominee during an election year have focused on an unexpected ally: Joe Biden, circa 1992.

It's a moot point because the GOP ain't gonna confirm anyone Obama nominates.

That's why Obama should nominate someone that GOP senators have already approved for another court.

It certainly is moot that the Repubs won't confirm anyone Obama nominates. Hell, Jesus the Christ could come back and Obama could appoint him and the GOP would say no.

McConnell claims that he's upholding the 'will of the American people.' From what I remember Obama is the President and he is the will of the American people. I don't know but was someone else elected who represents the will of the American people?
