Actually Obama did let them down, he's been saying for years people have to be concerned about rising temperatures who would have thought they would get recording breaking snow after all of Obama's hot air speeches? They were caught off guard, it wasn't supposed to happen. So yes Obama bears responsibility, words have meaning.

because those houses we paid to rebuild after Sandy were empty...

It seems that what we paid for were not necessary primary dwellings.....but in fact vacation homes used

only during the summer. :lol: :lol:

What I don't understand is if the rich want to build summer homes on beaches knowing every few years the home will be damaged or destroyed, why do us tax payers have to rebuild it for them? If they can't adequate insurance because of the risks, then they should pony up out of their pockets, not ours.

The huge contractor scams are worse than the politicians taking every penny they can.
