But you can't take the jungle out of the thug.

From Yahoo News:
NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on Sunday denounced the rape of a woman by five men at a Brooklyn playground, pledging police would work to swiftly apprehend the suspects in "this vicious crime."

Police said on Saturday the men took turns raping the 18-year-old woman at the playground operated by the New York City Parks Department in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn just after 9 p.m. on Thursday. One man pointed a gun at the father and told him to leave, police said.

After the father left, the men each assaulted the woman, police said. They fled when her father returned a short while later, accompanied by two officers.

The woman was treated at a hospital and released, police said.

Police released surveillance video taken in a nearby bodega that they said showed the five suspects before the attack. The video depicts a group of black men in jackets and sweatshirts talking and laughing inside the store.
Then they become outraged when people stereotype them.

On a related issue...NYC.....the schools have started issuing warnings to students who are caught committing a crime at school. Some kind of ticket thing.....
Instead of dealing with the criminal...they are getting a pass.
The kid is supposed to take this "ticket" home to the parents.

That kind of coddling will just produce more of the kind of behavior as described in the OP.

By the way...it follows right along with my assertion that the liberal response to a problem is to simply lower the bar.
No need to hold people to higher standards; just look the other way.
Then proclaim victory because the suspension rate goes down.....

Yeah hell, why not......"It's a crazy world"......

If the rapist have drugs on them, they'll be pardoned as harmless. If the prosecutor is smart he won't charge them with any drug charges, that's a guarantee early out. When Obama pardoned over a 1,000 druggies, he overlooked their other charges and past crimes, just mentioned they were charged with drug charges and the sentences were to long.

The Justice Department recently posted on its website a job listing seeking 16 lawyers for new spots in its Office of the Pardon Attorney, which codifies petitions for clemency and makes recommendations to the attorney general for clemency.

The new lawyers will assist “the President in the exercise of executive clemency,” according to the job description.

The department’s move to beef up staff in the pardon office has prompted speculation that President Obama will pursue a final year effort to grant clemency to a range of criminals, particularly drug offenders.

The Justice Department has been working for more than a year now on a new clemency initiative that outside organizations predict could free up to 20,000 convicted inmates from federal prisons. The effort has been described in news reports as “an unprecedented use of clemency power.”

The department says the new pardon office lawyers will work on this initiative.
Either I have a crystal ball or I'm really, really smart. Obama will be releasing 1,000's of hard core felons as his last act in office.

As Obama's time in office winds down, it is difficult to imagine the sort of pardons he will issue.

Already, he wants to close Gitmo.

Remember the Bergdahl "deal" -- 5 terrorists set free in exchange for a kid who did treason.

That's because Bergdahl and the 5 terrorists earned Obama's admiration for taking on the United States just as he's doing; it was a win win for Obama.
