Kentucky Gov Removes Clerk Names from Marriage Certificates To Protect Kim Davis

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) has issued an executive order to remove county clerk names from marriage certificates in an effort to guard individuals like Kim Davis from violating their religious liberties.

According to the Associated Press, Bevin announced Tuesday that the Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives will print a new certificates without county clerk names.

This all comes after Davis was jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples because she claimed it violated her religious rights.

Leftists such as Elkin have a gay agenda.

Nothing wrong with civil unions to protect legal rights, but pretending two men together in a "marriage" is the same as traditional marriage, that is just Politically Correct nonsense.

By the way, I have been intending to offer my condolences on all your marriages falling apart since the Supreme Court made gay marriage the law of the land.
Since it was claimed gay marriage would damage the institution of hetero marriage, one can only assume your marriages couldn't withstand the devastation.

From what I understand, a marriage licence needs to have the county clerk's name on it, by state law, and it cannot be removed through executive order.

The baggers claim that a marriage licence violates freedom of religion? They are full of shit. They are using the marriage certificate as a tool to infringe on the rights of other Americans. A true conservative would abhor the use of marriage certificates, the government should not be in the marriage business...
