Uh-oh...Governor Moon Beam isn't so green after all...

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Gov. Jerry Brown last year directed state oil and gas regulators to research, map and report back on any mining and oil drilling potential and history at the Brown family’s private land in Northern California.

After a phone call from the governor and follow-up requests from his aides, senior staffers in the state’s oil and gas regulatory agency over at least two days produced a 51-page historical report and geological assessment, plus a personalized satellite-imaged geological and oil and gas drilling map for the area around Brown’s family ranchland near the town of Williams.

Ultimately, the regulators told the governor, prospects were “very low” for any commercial drilling or mining at the 2,700-acre property, which has been in Brown’s family for more than a century.

Through the state’s open records law, The Associated Press obtained the research that state regulators carried out for Brown, and the emails among senior oil and gas regulators scrambling to fulfill the governor’s request.

Brown spokesman Evan Westrup declined to discuss the work for the governor, referring the AP to California’s Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources. That agency said the work was a legal and proper use of public resources – and no more than the general public would get. But oil industry experts said they could not recall a similar example of anyone getting that kind of state work done for private property.
From the article:
This situation creates a fascinating dilemma for the Governor. Did Jerry Brown use a little known free public service which is available to everyone – in which case every land owner in California should apply for a free survey of their property’s oil potential? Or did Jerry Brown violate section 8314 of California’s Government Code, which states “It is unlawful for any elected state or local officer…to use or permit others to use public resources for…personal or other purposes which are not authorized by law.” (h/t Breitbart).

Or perhaps there is some other innocent explanation? Inquiring minds would like to know.
But being the leading far left loon in the land of far left loonies it will all be swept under the rug.

Why hasn't Governor Moonbeam donated these 2700 acres to house Syrian refugees?

Or to house illegal immigrants?

Surely the Gov isn't greedy and selfish?

Surely the Gov isn't greedy and selfish?
Maybe he planned to donate some of the proceeds from oil and gas to the state?

That has to be a lie, Gov Brown is anti oil, he was the Canadian pipeline's biggest enemy, he hates the oil companies, oil is bad bad bad, so there is no way Brown would be thinking about drilling for oil for profit.

Why would anyone waste time trying to refute something he couldn't care less about, you moron?

And Brown is nothing to me either. What kind of stupid fuck wastes his time on such crap?
Oh, sorry, the stupid fuck was you...

Just how sick is your mind to believe everyone is somehow invested in every irrelevant boogeyman you clowns drag out?
This thread is just one more example of how you are willing to piss away your life on stupidity.

Comrade Sphincter Stretcher AssClown Loser Lucky asks why anyone would waste time in this topic, then spends 20 minutes venting his overworked spleen on exactly that.
And still he cannot refute even a single point.

(How do you like having your silly ass word games turned around on you?)

Now we learn this morning that one of the state employees Gov. Moonbeam ordered to do the oil survey on Moonbeam's family ranch has filed a whistle blower complaint against the Gov.

It's always amusing when the whackos start to eat their own.

And Insipid does his victory dance!!! Dumb fuck...

And still nobody but Californians care because it has nothing to do with the rest of us, and it doesn't effect any of us in any way, does it.

For some reason you morons think an "assessment" is the same as drilling for oil.
It isn't. Nothing has happened yet. Brown hasn't added a drop of fossil fuel to the system.

Jesus H. Chrisis, you tools are stupid.

Having State employees to do an oil assessment of his private land... nahhh, he didn't have any plans to drill for oil, he just wanted to make sure there was no oil on his land because he hates oil...stupid libtards.

"...California’s Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources. That agency said the work was a legal and proper use of public resources – and no more than the general public would get."

If it's a legal use of public funds, then it's a legal use of public funds.
Why you care what California does with it's public money is beyond me.

So when you have some evidence that indicates something wrong was done, get back to us.
Otherwise, you're just a tool of your handlers, who haven't got any evidence either.

The rest of the article is innuendo, which is not admissible in a court of law.
Just ask johnforbes. It's the reason he lost every case he was ever involved in.

The general public, yes........but not elected officials.

Brown violated California state law.....wrong is wrong.

I never have in the past, so what are you basing your gross stupidity upon?
You clowns haven't yet given any evidence of any wrongdoing.
I just gave you the quotation from the article that supports my view.
You, of course, have nothing but innuendo, as always.

"So, dat don't be proofen he be interusted in no oi, and doos be public wurkers, dey free"

Exactly, Tool, that doesn't prove he has any interest whatsoever in drilling for oil.
And here I didn't think you could read English.

But your Spanglish sure is getting worse with age.

Brown might have been interested in mining other minerals.
He could have been interested in selling the property and wants to be able to price it appropriately.
He might have been doing estate planning and wants to be able to divide his assets fairly among inheritors or charities.
You dimwits can only think in the most simplistic terms. "Ungh, Democrats BAADDDD, Republicans Gud."
The rest of us live in the real world.

Get back to us when your handlers have some evidence that Brown actually did something wrong, and then you can go fuck yourselves because it still won't be interesting to anyone but Californians.

So the Brown family aren't part of the general public?
The "request" was not made by any other member of the family.....

Reports say it was made by Governor Brown, who asked that the report be delivered to him personally.

Even so the California Div. of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources has no record of ever doing this kind of

work or to this extent (including satellite imaging) for any other individual.

Accordingly, I am leaving the Internet forever.
