Donald Trump: I would have prevented 9/11

Donald Trump says he's not blaming George W. Bush for 9/11, but he claims that if he'd been president, the attacks never would have happened.

In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," the real estate mogul said that since he's "extremely, extremely tough on immigration" the attackers wouldn't have been in position to commandeer U.S. flights.

"So there's a good chance that those people would not have been in our country," Trump said.

The reality is that loose immigration policy did play a role.

Nobody knew at that time -- or now -- who is in the country or why.

For example, "security" folks don't even know, to the nearest MILLION, how many illegal immigrants are wandering around?

Despite the Orwellian implications, it may be time for a national biometric ID card.

I agree with Trump 100%, thanks for pointing it out Clown.

Six of the 9/11 hijackers had overstayed their visas, all came on student visas but didn't enroll in the schools they obtained their visas to attend. We pay billions to the immigration department for 100's of thousands of federal employees to monitor that shit, but such a simple task as escorting them out the country for violating our border laws never happened. I agree with Trump, if our immigration department was doing it's job they would have not been in our country to commandeer U.S. flights.

Trump is correct.

The owner of the flight school called and told the FBI, he had these guys who wanted to know how
to fly airliners but did not want to learn how to land them....the FBI did nothing.
