Gov. Cuomo has NY under control

NEW YORK — An aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo remains in critical condition after being caught in the crossfire between two gangs in Brooklyn.
Carey Gabay, a first deputy general counsel at the Empire State Development Corp., was shot in the head during a pre-dawn party. Cuomo called the 43-year-old Harvard-educated lawyer "an outstanding public servant" who joined his administration in 2011.
Gabay was walking with his brother at 3:40 a.m. when he was caught in the crossfire.
What idiot walks around in Brooklyn at 3:40 a.m.? I guess he thought since it's a no gun zone he was safe!
Time to fence in the zoos.

New York City doesn't even crack the top 50 in murders per capita, Tool.
Dallas and Houston are much worse.
I guess that means you think the mayors of those cities don't have them under control, right?
And all those guns don't keep the citizens any safer either.

Cuomo and de Blasio have been in a cock measuring contest with each other for sometime.
What a coincidence that one of Cuomo's aides would be shot while visiting NYC.
So, it would not surprise me if Bill was behind the shooting.
Cuomo is quoted as saying, "I'm the governor of the state of New York, and there's not a thing I can do,"
I guess you know who's in charge in New York City.

Large cities across the nation are seeing a startling rise in murders after years of declines.
More than 30 cities have reported steep increases in violence from a year ago. In New Orleans, 120 people had been killed by late August, compared with 98 during the same period a year earlier. In Baltimore, homicides had hit 215, up from 138 at the same point in 2014. In Washington, the toll was 105, compared with 73 people a year ago. RealTool cites a bunch of cities where more people carry guns than in most other places.
But he tells us that more people carrying guns is a good thing and keeps people safe.
So goes the cognitive dissonance of the Right.
And the only reason New York (one of the safest large cities) shows up on his list is because it has one of the lowest murder rates per capita, so any increase puts in into the 'fastest growing' category.
Meanwhile, it's chirping crickets from him about Dallas and Houston which have much, much worse murder rates than New York.
Ditto with his ignoring his embarrassing comments about liberals, and not his own lying ass that thinks people shouldn't be out at night.
What diversion will he come back with this time in another attempt to avoid the truth?
Everyone should also note that RealTool altered the article and inserted the lie "Cities with the highest rate of murders per capita." He made it up because made up stupid shit is all he ever has to support his other lies.
This is what the article actually said: "A sampling of cities where the number of murders so far this year is outpacing the same period last year."

Everyone of those cities are ran by liberals where guns are banned. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws have guns, thus the high rate of murders in those cities. Clown please explain to us how Chicago can have gun murders when guns are outlawed.

Cuomo was announced for the Democratic nomination in May 2010, crime sky rocketed within months of him taking office and punishing the police and good citizens rather than the bad guys. After dark the streets are no longer safe, not even for his own staff. Once a again you look silly.

"Stop and frisk" drastically reduced the murder rate in NYC. But as it targeted the group most likely to murder, be murdered and be carrying an illegal weapon, ie black males, it was deemed racist by the clear thinking and enlightened left.
Using everyday, off the shelf logic we can thus deduce that liberals think reducing the murder rate is racist.
Comrade Mayor Bill de Blasio has ended stop and frisk (but thinks homeless people taking a dump in the middle of Times Square is OK) and the murder rate has shot up. Fact.
Comrade Mayor Bill de Blasio is a hero of the left. Fact.
Comrade Mayor Bill de Blasio is clearly in favor of increasing the murder rate in NYC (and taking a dump in the middle of Times Square).
