GOP pandering to the religious right...........

GOP on the jailing of the Kentucky clerk for violating the constitution...

Paul...I think it's absurd to put someone in jail for exercising their religious liberty,I think this is a real mistake.

Huckabee...travelling to Kentucky to support Davis. The Supreme Court is not the supreme branch and it's certainly not the supreme being. The decision makes Christianity a crime in America.

Trump...??????????????????????

Bush...There's some way to figure this out?

Cruz...There's war on faith. I stand with every American that the Obama administration is trying to force to choose between honoring his or her faith or complying with a lawless court opinion.

Jindal... Davis should not have to resign or to issue licenses to same-sex couples. I don’t think anyone should have to choose between following their conscience and religious beliefs and giving up their job and facing financial sanctions.

I agree with them, this is America, a person shouldn't be forced to do something they disagree with, this is not Nazi America. I have a gay working for me but I declined his wedding invite and when he asked me why, I told him that's none of his business. The far left liberals are out of control, they may think we have to agree with them but they're in for a rude awaking.

If this woman doesn't like the job then she should quit. I personally think she should be immediately fired for not doing her job.

This is like a conscientious objector joining the military and complaining about being ordered into combat?

Conservatardos gone apeshit stupid...

Wrong, it would be like telling a soldier they have to take a shower with a gay and sleep with him in the same 2 man (person) tent. They didn't join the military to dance with gays.

"I agree with them, this is America, a person shouldn't be forced to do something they disagree with,..."-RealTool

I'm really surprised.
RealTool believes Muslim grocery store checkers shouldn't be required to check pork products and Muslim teachers should be allowed to wear face masks on the job.
No one has the right to tell them it's a requirement of their job to handle pork products or have their faces exposed according to Tool's new religious freedom policy.

"I think it's absurd to put someone in jail for exercising their religious liberty..."-Paul

I think it's absurd that Paul is so stupid.

The county clerk wasn't put in jail for exercising her religious liberty.
She was put in jail for contempt of court.
And if the clerk thought inter-racial marriages were against her religion, which many Christians did not too long ago and many still do, she shouldn't have to issue those licenses either, right?

Marriage licenses are a civil matter. They have nothing to do with anyone's religion.

What's the matter with you clowns?

A Muslim woman who was a stewardess on an airline was suspended for refusing to serve alcohol because it violated her religious freedom. And the airline is rightfully correct in doing so. It's in the job description of a stewardess to serve food and drink to the passengers.

The county clerk is an agent of the government and is obliged by law and the constitution to serve the public. Not issuing the licences to gays is a violation of the constitution. Therefore the government will be on the hook for liabilities for violating the civil rights of the citizens. She should be immediately terminated...

Tool, all you're doing is showing your ignorance again.

You don't even seem to understand what a burnt cookie is.
There are none on this thread.
If you think there are, you're just proving to everyone you're a moron.

But I did notice your silence over your apparent support of letting Muslims tell us how to run our businesses, government, and schools, just as you support that Christian woman doing it.
