Well known illegal aliens, Frank Medina and Julian Zatarain were appointed
by city councilman Jhonny Pineda to head city commissions, critics say, as reward
for their work on his campaign.
Mayor Katrina macias supports the appointments saying undocumented immigrants need a voice too.
Medina will head the health and education commission.
Zatarain will head the parks and recreation commission.
The two illegals will have to undergo a background check before the appointments become final.
