A few right wing SCOTUS gems...

Scalia...

The nature of marriage is that, through its enduring bond, two persons together can find other freedoms, such as expression, intimacy, and spirituality,'"

"Really? Who ever thought that intimacy and spirituality [whatever that means] were freedoms? And if intimacy is, one would think Freedom of Intimacy is abridged rather than expanded by marriage. Ask the nearest hippie.

The nearest hippie? I thought it was hipster?

Clueless! LMAO

Alito...

For millennia, marriage was inextricably linked to the one thing that only an opposite-sex couple can do: procreate.

Wait until I tell my wife that I married her just to fuck her...

Fucking priceless

Alas, the Left Wing non-gems are the problem.

The Founders never contemplated gay marriage, and it was dishonest for the Court to pretend it was exercising a judicial function in that regard.

Roberts said it was not a legislature, but Roberts himself acted like a fool in twice rewriting Obamacare which was a legislative function.

The Supreme Court is a joke, and alas so is the piece of paper we call our Constitution.

Nor did they contemplate interracial marriage. Which was overturned under equal protection to the chagrin of the right wing charlatans. So much so that Alabama also banned interracial marriage until 2000 even though SCOTUS ruled that it was unconstitutional decades earlier...

I suppose they couldn't stand black men banging their white women and vice versa...

If somebody wants socialized medicine and gay marriage, just say so.

The pretense that some court "finds" it in the Constitution -- or some interpretation -- is what is more annoying.

Gay marriage, like Miranda "rights," was just made up by liberal judges wiping their muddy feet on the Constitution.

So the conservative remedy was to create an amendment to the constitution which defines a marriage as a union between a man and a woman?

Maybe if the conservatives proposed that the gays have a "civil union" instead of a marriage then they could have saved face. This would have allowed for the gays to be recognized by the "STATE" and would have allowed for marriage to be limited to male/female couples.

Conservative idiocy never ceases to amaze me....

All of you fag loving idiots don't see what just happened.

A marriage license is a STATE DOCUMENT !! NOT A FEDERAL DOCUMENT....never was !

IF the SCOTUS believes the 14th Amendment guarantees marriage licenses than a law needs

to exist to make marriage licenses a federal document controlled by the federal government.

The SCOTUS simply decided that it is now a federal document and took control away from the states!

State rights mean nothing to that Court!

Elkindoofus, you Titanic Idiot, please enumerate (that means, tell me what number this brand new ammendment is. Somehow the ratification process slipped past me) that new ammendment to the Constitution you say conservatives passed that restricts marriage to a man and a woman.

I got all night you blithering buffoon.

Or just crawl back to wherever you've been hiding since your last beat down.

This is exactly why Elkindoofus holds the retired, all time, all weight class title of Stupidest Person on the Internet.

Benny, grow up.

Over the years, the Supreme Court has issued numerous silly, or idiotic, or wrong decisions. We saw two more of them just this week.

What is a judge? It is a lawyer who knows a politician.

What is a lawyer? A person who sits 3 yrs in law school.

What is a justice of the Sup Ct? A lawyer who knows a national politician.

Yes, that's right, marriage is regulated on a state level.

But it impacts the distribution of federal government benefits, such as social security. When someone is legally married that will entitle them to death benefits when a spouse dies in regards to social security.

I personally don't believe in gay marriage, to me a "civil union" is more appropriate. It would have allowed for marriage to be defined as a union between a man and a woman. And a civil union would have allowed for gays to marry, obtain government benefits, and fall under equal protection of the law. But conservatives didn't want to go that route...

Instead of "impacts," say what you mean -- affects.

As for the rest, there are painful things in life such as a root canal.

But nothing is more painful that trying to watch Elkin think.

than trying...

Suffice to say you can watch "Jeopardy!" a long time and have no fear of catching Elkin on the show.

But there IS something more painful, johnny.
It's watching you trying to be superior correcting someone as you make a stupid mistake doing it.

I wish you could feel my pain, johnny.
You would stop being such an effete douche bag if you could.

Once again we see Loser Lucky trying to grasp at the thinnest of reeds in order to do his little victory dance in support of Elkindoofus, the stupidest person on the internet.

At this juncture we will see Loser Lucky, "Defend the Indefensible" and throw one of his patented tantrums.
The stage is yours Loser Lucky.

Addendum: there is a something even more painful than watching johnforbes regularly make a fool of himself.

That's watching our PainfulTooth regularly make a fool of himself every time I ring the bell.

Four well earned emoticons for you, Insispid.

Now dance for us again. *ring-ring-ring*

Two quick questions, sillydildo...

First, why would I give a flying fuck what Obama wants?

And two, what has this marriage crap got to do with Obama?
