Just got another one after we replied to there blank email asking them if there was supposed to be a message attached. There email reply read exactly as the active members support page.

With site being back up Wednesday :roll: we wondered when they will be sending out the new user names and passwords :?:

As I understand it, the pay sites won't be up right away, so nobody needs these usernames and passwords right away. (So what's their rush?)

There was never a need for usernames on the free side, so it would be a major change if they instituted that now -- I haven't seen any suggestion they would.

The only thing I can think of would be the new BBs -- maybe they want to screen out the trolls. But how would any of you who weren't on the pay sites get usernames and passwords if they are requiring you to have already had them and you didn't?

And would we really have to operate with assigned nics on the BBs? That would be really frustrating.

What is this thread about, anyway? Chain mail?

We could use a little help on here.

Seems like we have some friends on the forum -- can any of you help us remind admin that we should not be banned and that it is a bad idea to alienate longstanding contributors and constructive participants in the discussion?

Maybe just add your voices to this thread?

(And it seems there are others -- Elise, STCL, whoever "contributor" is. Why drive us away if they want to get the site back up again?)

They finally relented on BB access, but under this other address. Except I'm not so sure there's really much left to say around here at this point.

Since they deleted DJ's history and current events and zardoz decoded the wiki, it's pretty much a ghost town around here, with just the hyenas circling.

You can't say we didn't try....
