What's the problem with immigrants? They have their health examinations, they come in legally, they had back ground checks, they have the means to support themselves upon arrival and they have needed skills that makes the United States more productivity while adding diversity.

When my son ask which language he should take I told him if he wants a job in the service industry barely getting by take Spanish, if he wants a chance at getting on with a big firm making a really decent salary, take Chinese.

Look at Canada, they brag of their diversity and welcoming immigrants but what they don't tell you is they reject the average American requesting immigration status but they welcome rich Chinese and Russians who have brought immense wealth to parts of Canada. So unless you're a rich American with start up funds for a business forget about becoming a Canadian. They laugh at our open borders allowing the sick, poor, uneducated and criminals to come in and become an instant drain on our limited social services.

Saw a news report that Chinese immigrants are moving to Texas from the West Coast.

They are bringing money, establishing businesses, buying million dollar homes.

English, for years, was the de facto national language in the USA. All immigrants used to have to learn English to get US citizenship. I often wonder, If legal action was taken by a minority, how much it would cost government (both state and federal) to print each government document, pamphlet, legal paper, sign, etc. in 3 or more languages.

They already do that in Can-uh-duh where every government document is printed in both English and Frog. All to appease a bunch of malcontents in Queer-bec. Talk to any Canuck from the western provences to find out how they feel about those assholes.

Yep, any products I want to sell in Canada "has" to have both English and French" on it. Same goes for some counties in California, they have local requirements that the product "has" to also have Spanish on it.
