SANAA, Yemen (AP) -- Yemen's Shiite rebels and their allies fought their way through the commercial center of Aden on Thursday and seized the presidential palace on a strategic hilltop in this southern coastal city, security officials said. President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi had fled Yemen last month during the fighting. Local officials in the port city of Mukalla said al-Qaeda militants had stormed prisons and freed at several hundred detainees.

Local Yemeni officials said that among those released in the prison break was a senior figure in the regional wing of al-Qaeda. Rresidents said they saw groups of fighters carrying rocket propelled grenades and accompanied by tanks and armored vehicles in the Khor Maksar district - part of a neck of land linking central Aden to the rest of the city.

Many people fled the area and some were trying to get on ships leaving the ports as chants of "death to Christians" filled the streets.

So Justme claims that the war on terror waged by Obama was a failure because the government collapsed at the hands of a terrorist insurgency. Justme tries to be cute but it's another feeble strawman argument. Correlation does not equal causation. The Yemeni government collapsed because it was not stable to begin with in the first place because they didn't have enough resources to wage war.

What part of Obama giving Yemen as shinning example of what all Nations in that area should strive to be, did you miss? Before Obama's medaling in their affairs and forcing them to bow to terrorists they were doing fine, we see Obama trying to make Israel and other Middle East countries do the same thing.

Obama's main advantage, in making a fool of himself yet again re Yemen, is that the mainstream media remain ever loyal to the First Race Baiter.

I'm curious Justme, when was the last time you saw the President's morning briefing? Since you are so sure that the President is wrong all of the time I know that you are privy to the morning briefing. I remember reading that when Bush read his first morning briefing his face went white. If this had such an effect on him, I wonder what we don't know (and probably don't want to know.)
