The greatest president since Reagan...according to Jindal

G Dubya!!!
Comedy is a very hard and tricky thing to create. However, sometimes the comedy writes itself.
Gov. Bobby Jindal was on MSNBC's Morning Joe today and Mark Halperin asked him who was the best president since Ronald Reagan, a question that would give Americans a sense of his leadership qualities. Let's just say he failed miserably.
Halperin: Just to give people a sense of your leadership judgement and views, who's been the best American president since Ronald Reagan and why?
Jindal: Well obviously I think Ronald Reagan was the best.
Halperin: Since Ronald Reagan.
Jindal: Since Reagan we've had two republicans and two democrats, there are pros and cons. I think George W. Bush did an admirable job protecting our country against the threat, after 9/11, his presidency was largely defined about keeping us safe of international terrorism.
Why do republicans ignore the fact that under George W. Bush, America WAS attacked on 9/11? Didn't he fail his leadership role on that fateful day if we are judging his ability to keep Americans safe? Conservatives would have you believe that 9/11 didn't really happen under W's reign at all.
Jindal went on to list the things he didn't like about some of W's policies, but in the end sided with one of the worst American president's off all time.
Jindal: If I had to pick between those president's, I think president Bush because
Scarborough: George W. Bush
Jindal: ...because he did what I think was the biggest challenge...
Starting the Iraq war under false pretenses doesn't count for much in Jindal's warped world view.

The war in Iraq was sorta won, but Obama gave the country away.
Obama said Afghanistan was "the right war," but did nothing to win there either.
Had it not been for harsh questioning of the very kind Obama opposed, and halted, Obama would never have had the chance to authorize the hit on bin Laden.
Obama sustained a rotator cuff injury patting himself on the back for that.

Jindal agrees with the Bush doctrine.
Palin came up with a bizzare response to whether or not she agreed with it.

Couric was probably trying to trap Palin, thinking Palin didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was.
And, who knows, maybe she didn't.
But Palin did note that the proximity of a big threat makes it more real. The proximity of Russia to Alaska makes the threat less theoretical, more visceral.
That was a perfectly valid point, so leftists just lied and said she said something she didn't.

The woman was chosen by the GOP to be their candidate for vice president. Don't you think she should have known the Bush game plan?
BTW...Putin is a paper tiger with an economy in the trash heap. Further sanctions such as cutting it off from the capital markets and an oil embargo will pretty much flush Putin down the shitter. I'm sure the GOP was aware of the fact that Russian government revenue is very heavily leveraged to oil?
Yup...the greatest geopolitical foe of the United States.

Thanks to Obama destroying 85% or our nuclear weapons and dismantling our missile defense systems, Russia now has more nukes than we do and could wipe us off the map before Obama could hold a poll to determine how the United States should react. Putin owns us because he doesn't need no stinking polls to tell him what he should do.

RealTool isn't satisfied with being able to destroy Russia ten time over.
He wants to be able to destroy it 20 times over. That shows you're a real man.
Who cares if it costs another two or three hundred billion dollars?
He's obviously a fiscal conservative. Go big or go home!

I agree with Elkin that Palin should have been better prepared for leftist journalists like Couric.
Palin should absolutely have been brief on stuff like the Bush Doctrine.
But, for VP, America has always gotten what it has gotten, from draft-dodger Joe Biden to Spiro Agnew.

Biden has always brought a certain authenticity to politics with his hair transplants and capped teeth.
Biden used the tragic death of family members for political purposes, and he had to withdraw from law school and a presidential race when his plagiarism became known.
Biden has been captured on camera saying a stunning amount of stupid things. Of course, Obama has too.

Biden, elected by voters for more than 40 years, has had his snout in the public trough for all that time.
