Remember the USS Liberty AGTR-5. On June 8, 1967 Israel jets and surface ships attacked our Naval vessel in International waters; killing 34 Americans and wounding 171 Americans. According to the book written by the Cammander of the USS Liberty, the vessel was listening to chatter about the IDF executing Egyptian POWs.
