Do medical people coming from Africa have a screw loose?

No I'm not talking about travelling to Africa to treat the Ebola patients, they do that for the money, getting their tickets punched and to feel good about themselves. I'm talk about after they return from helping those in a foreign country why are so willing expose U.S. citizens to the risks of Ebola; they saw first hand what happens when it spreads. So why risk exposing Americans?
Why wouldn't they be willing to take reasonable steps to protect residents of their own country and remain in public monitored quarantine, why can't they make that "little" sacrifice for their own country? When they toss out it violates their civil rights and get lawyers it tells me they just don't give a shit about the risks to our public, it was all about them in the first place including their parade in Africa.

If you had a bad cold as a kid, would your mother send you to school?
No, and the reasoning is the same.
No worse example of lack of common sense can be found than Obama's idiocy in not halting inbound flights from West Africa.

Steven Hyman of the New York law firm McLaughlin & Stern told the Bangor Daily News that Hickox will not comply with Maine’s requirements to remain under home quarantine for 21 days.
“She doesn’t want to agree to continue to be confined to a residence beyond the two days, she has made great sacrifices in Africa and upon returning home she does not wish to be restricted in her movements. ” Hyman told the Daily news.
Hickox’s other attorney, New York civil rights lawyer Norman Siegel, called Maine’s quarantine “unconstitutional.”
“The conditions that the state of Maine is asking Kaci to comply with are unconstitutional and illegal and there is no justification for the state of Maine to infringe on her liberty,” Siegel explained to the Daily News
There you go dudes, another example of a pretentious fraud, her whole trip was all about her, not the health of others. She is willing to take the risk of possibly spreading Ebola, what a self centered bitch.

The bitch has been lucky that's why she is acting up, but If she's allowed to do as she wishes.....then soon voluntary self monitoring quarantine will have to be removed from the table.

The city’s first Ebola patient initially lied to authorities about his travels around the city following his return from treating disease victims in Africa, law-enforcement sources said.
Dr. Craig Spencer at first told officials that he isolated himself in his Harlem apartment — and didn’t admit he rode the subways, dined out and went bowling until cops looked at his MetroCard the sources said.
“He told the authorities that he self-quarantined. Detectives then reviewed his credit-card statement and MetroCard and found that he went over here, over there, up and down and all around,” a source said.
Spencer finally ’fessed up when a cop “got on the phone and had to relay questions to him through the Health Department,” a source said.
Officials then retraced Spencer’s steps, which included dining at The Meatball Shop in Greenwich Village and bowling at The Gutter in Brooklyn.
What an asshole! Why does he like the nurses who potentially exposed other U.S. citizens to Ebola care so little about our health?

Obama said in a speech these healthcare workers were special and we need to make it easy on them when they return so as not to discourage others from doing this kind of work.
The military will quarantine each returning soldier, this is an order. It appears that the healthcare workers will have to be placed in a forced guarded quarantine no ands, ifs or buts.

This is the problem with all the self-reporting.
Anybody from Liberia who thinks he may have Ebola will lie to get to the U.S., as Duncan lied.
The doctor lied about his activity in New York.
Now Obama and the CDC say it'll be fine if people self-report their temperature.
In a lifetime, American citizens have never seen such raw stupidity from the federal government.
