FLORENCE, Ky. (AP) — The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee suddenly stopped running TV ads in Kentucky's U.S. Senate race, a severe blow to Alison Lundergan Grimes in her challenge to Republican leader Mitch McConnell. The committee's decision in Kentucky was in strong contrast to its activities in other states with pivotal Senate races. Democrats continued to spend freely in Iowa, Georgia, North Carolina and several other states as they tried to blunt a Republican drive to gain a Senate majority in midterm elections. Grimes was heavily recruited by Democrats to challenge McConnell, but her support by Democrats eroded after she recently declined to say if she voted for Obama or not in 2008 and 2012.

Remember, McConnell didn't work for his money. He "earned" it the old fashioned way; He inherited it.

I have no problem with politicians who enter office super rich on money they inherited, what I have a problem with is with those enter office poor and become super rich while in office, example Harry Reid.

I'm sure you don't. Who better than folks like that to understand and fight for the essential conservative cause and belief of "I got mine. Fuck you and yours."
Clearly someone who has inherited their wealth understands the value of working. They undoubtedly had to bicker with other relatives and hire attorneys to defend their "earned" earnings and wealth.

Either it's the fruit of the poisoned tree (para-lawyer Forbes might have heard of that term when he was watching Perry Mason or LA Law) or it's not.
No wonder you vote a straight GOP ticket. If Jesus the Christ came down here and ran on Christian principles against Satan running on straight Satanic/GOP principles, you wouldn't hesitate to celebrate and vote for Satan because he best exemplifies conservative values, especially the "I got mine. I've tried repeatedly to get RealTool to understand the most obvious implications of his political and moral positions.
I've spelled it out for him, to no avail each time. And he won't understand your last post either.
Like johnforbes, he's a hypocrite who will never grasp his own hypocrisy because he is utterly incapable of self-reflection or critical thinking.
A few months ago he was ridiculing another Democrat because the guy had FAILED to get rich while in Congress.
He claimed that showed how incompetent the guy is. The guy has a net worth of only around $400,000.
So if you get rich you are corrupt and if you DON'T get rich you are stupid and incompetent.
Then a couple weeks ago he started a thread about his ideal form of government: Plutocracy. He believes that the more money you have, the more votes you should get in Congress.
And then RealTool is stupid enough to pretend he's a patriot who wants to preserve the Constitution and historical American values. :lol:
